Daios Cove is really nice, you can stay on a half board or all inclusive basis. It doesn’t feel like an all inclusive resort as the restaurants are so good.

Fivemoreminutes1 · 22/07/2023 12:04

Creta Maris or Grecotel Marine Palace

FoodieToo · 22/07/2023 12:34

Thank you everyone ! Will check them out .

We've just returned from Nana Golden beach resort and were v impressed.

FatCatatPaddingtonStation · 23/07/2023 14:40

I’ve had my eye on the one at Fodele Beach but not been.
Friend raves about the Iberostar in Panorama, and although I haven’t been, Iberostar as a brand are always good IME.

tonystarksrighthand · 23/07/2023 15:44

@FatCatatPaddingtonStation we are off to Fodele tomorrow!

Lincslady53 · 23/07/2023 16:28

We stayed at Nana Beach a few years ago and really enjoyed it. It has now been upgraded so on our agenda to return. A PP mentioned it, Nana Golden Beach now .

Euphoria Resort
Daios Cove

Blue Palace - not all inclusive, only half board

cfmtb · 23/07/2023 20:02

Stella Island
(As long as that's not the same as Stella Palace?).
It's amazing,

alwaysommymind · 23/07/2023 20:04

@cfmtb
Is Stella palace the one where children are allowed? Have you been and what is it like

LoopyGremlin · 23/07/2023 20:47

What was Stella Palace like? It's on my list of possibilities for next year.

I believe the IKOS resorts are luxurious but expensive!

LiquoriceAllsorts2 · 23/07/2023 22:14

I also recommend nana golden beach

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 23/07/2023 23:24

We went to hotel nana beach in 2018 and it was beautiful

Waynettaaa · 23/07/2023 23:30

@FoodieToo did you stay in the family or adults only hotel?

I'm booked to go to the adults only in September. Why do you feel it wasn't luxurious enough?

TIA

Just realised we're booked for Stella Island which I think is different to Stella Palace?!

Tailfeather · 23/07/2023 23:35

Another vote for Daios Cove. Or Ikos if you would consider Corfu.

Newusernamee · 24/07/2023 00:11

We are going to Stella island next week - I will report back! Daios cove is on our bucket list, my brother raves about it. Also, another vote for Ikos - we went last year and loved it.

FoodieToo · 24/07/2023 00:17

Stella Island is the adults only hotel of the Stella group . It looks nice , will try it when kids older . We popped over to check it out .

We loved Stella Palace but I’ve been going to Ikos with friends and I think my standards are gone mad 😂😂😂!

Stella Palace has very luxurious rooms if you get the direct pool access , renovated rooms and the à la carte restaurants are fab . But my teens felt there was no late food offering and I would have liked much better quality wines and cocktails.

Would also have enjoyed more waiter service at pools etc .
Loved it though , would even head back . But might try to check out something else next year .

Thanks for all the suggestions . Just arrived back in Dublin and it’s grey and raining !

We were at one of the two Iberostar hotels in Panormos in May. The pools and coves were lovely, but I wouldn't describe it as luxurious. The food wasn't great and the entertainment that we went to was cringy. Admittedly it was cheaper than the other suggestions on this thread, I think.

I can’t find an AI option for this hotel only half board? How expensive were the drinks/snacks etc?
thanks!

Stella Island
(As long as that's not the same as Stella Palace?).
It's amazing,

I’ve been there. The food is fantastic but I didn’t really rate anything else. Lots of people drinking all day long and behaving like louts. No beach within walking distance that was at all nice. The rooms had no privacy on the balcony. It felt like the Truman show. The staff were brilliant
though.
