We are in Crete and stayed in Stella Palace . It was really great . Would like to return to Crete next year so looking for another luxury all inclusive style hotel in Crete . Preferably a little more luxurious than SP .

Any suggestions welcome , thank you .

I’ve been there. The food is fantastic but I didn’t really rate anything else. Lots of people drinking all day long and behaving like louts. No beach within walking distance that was at all nice. The rooms had no privacy on the balcony. It felt like the Truman show. The staff were brilliant
though.

We are going next week and I must admit this worries me - we are mid 40’s / 50’s and everyone else seems very insta perfect and posing up a storm on social media. Gulp!

I can’t find an AI option for this hotel only half board? How expensive were the drinks/snacks etc?
thanks!

Hi

sorry you’re right - we did half board.

snacks and drinks are standard price - there are a couple of cafes and buffets available for lunch (inc beach cafe) and there is a huge selection of drinks available of varying prices. I think the dinner included alcohol but check

we didn’t spend much more on drinks and snacks tbh over the 7 days - maybe a few hundred

it is a nice hotel though so the cocktails are proper drinks - not slush puppies with alcohol

Not everyone is like that but a lot are. Just enjoy the food, it’s great.

There was an A 1 option when we went two years ago. It might have changed. You can upgrade in the hotel I think. That’s why people were drinking all day. We were half board.
