How hot is it at the moment? I'm going on Saturday and just wondering if the heat is unbearable?

Depends where.i live in eosin abd we hsve give up into the soanish mountains fir a few days as its much cooler

Look on the weather fir the area you are visiting

I'm in barcelona. It's about 30 here now. Expected to rise to 35- 40 next week.
It's bloody hot and humid.
I wouldn't do this area at this time again, we had to this year due to exams, uni starts and a new job

Am in Turkey, it's 38/39 at the moment and there are health warnings in place advising people to stay indoors during the hottest part of the day. The beach and the sea are packed at night with locals going to cool down.

In Alicante- hot cannot walk around the front in the day, we taxi everywhere. It is very hot

Near Albufeira, Portugal so not med as such but it's scorching. Can't walk anywhere without being drenched in sweat within 5 mins. People fainting.

I live in Greece and it is sweltering here. Beads of sweat down my forehead if I go outside just for a few mins walk. When I open the windows first thing in the morning to refresh the air, it's just hot air outside. Hot weather warnings in place.

It depends on where you are going OP. I'm in the South of France - its lovely here! About 30 degrees on average. The forecast is around 32 degrees for next week.

Just outside Malaga at the moment, it was 42 the other day. Thought we would all melt but between the pool and the air con in the apartment it wasn't too bad. Think Wednesday was the peak of the heatwave.

My dd is pregnant and going to Cyprus tomorrow, I hope she'll be ok , looks like the temperature is going into the 40's .

Not great, you can't really go out much in the day and then you get bitten by mosquitoes when you go out at night 😂

Mate lives in Cyprus and he said it’s too hot to do anything right now and he’s used to the heat.

Am going to Cyprus soon, hope this heatwave cools a bit, I like it hot but its the humidity I cannot cope with, we normally go in June but cannot this year due to work commitments

Costa Brava (Girona direction) - it's hot for walking around, but just about manageable. Nice to sit by the pool or on the beach.

We've just come back from Ibiza and it was very hot there - I usually like it being pretty hot on holiday but it was too much even for me!

I’m in Sevilla… 40 degrees today, 42 yesterday. It’s hot. It feels like walking through a hairdryer at times; but mostly I’ve been okay. It really depends how you deal with heat.

Near Valencia. 37 today, higher tomorrow. I feel sick and cannot eat. Certainly not going outside.

The problem is, there is no relief at night. The humidity is 90 percent at night.
Then in winter it is absolutely freezing.

Live in the Algarve and contrary to what someone else said it's a pretty normal Summer here. It was hot yesterday, high thirties but about 34 today and forecast to be 30 ish over the weekend. We are very close to the sea though and think that the Atlantic influence makes a big difference. We fortunately nearly always have a cooling sea breeze. Much as I love Seville have been looking at their temperatues and wincing. If I was there I think I'd only be comfortable in somewhere that had air conditioning.

39 here today but we are on holiday so it’s fine. Sitting in the shade, dipping in the pool lots and eating lots of ice creams.

I'm going to Barcelona for work 😪and keep getting messages from the company travel thing about how to avoid heatstroke. In my Teams meeting yesterday they said there it was definitely unpleasant outside during the day. But this is people working of course.

Surprised to hear this, flew back from Barcelona yesterday & it was cloudy and about 30 (it’s not been much more than 31/32 last couple of weeks) I would say pretty normal for this time of year

Also near Málaga (Cómpeta), it was hot yesterday but back to the comfortable low/mid 30s now where it is forecast to stay for the next week.
