Rome and Naples. Lots of interesting Easter festival activities, sunny but not too hot

Tenerife - 8 month old baby, don't fancy long haul and just want to eat loads of breakfast buffet, lovely.

I'm going to Costa Rica.

DP and I had to stop having holidays together last year because one of us needs to be around to keep an eye on his Mum.
DD is a student and wants to work over her Easter break.

So I'll be going on my own. I can't wait!

At Easter I'd love to go to Costa Rica, Vietnam or Jordan. Just not this year.

We're going to Great Yarmouth, bit of a spur of the moment booking the other week. Going with DH, DD and my mum.

The Algarve

We went to Ibiza last Easter. It was very quiet. Nothing had opened up yet. There was a wierd Easter parade thing in Ibiza Town which was pretty creepy really. Very religious. They had priests in these black pointy hat things with eye holes and a very strange procession. Brought to mind the Spanish Inquisition.

Went with the girls in September as well and it was much better. All the party places were rocking and we had a great time.

Catholic country holds traditional parade in traditional costume at most important festival of the Christian calendar. Shocker. 🙄

Ha ha no get that but get a look at these costumes. The kids thought they were creepy as fuck. It was interesting to see so many people gathered for it, a very male dominated event still. Interesting to see.

@CampervanKween Know what you mean. DS and I came across similar in Palma de Mallorca wen he was about 15. His first thought was WTF KKK out in public. I put him right (and we were respectful) but if you're not religious and do watch American films that's the outfit.
