What resort am I describing

Somewhere within 3.5hrs of UK

No more than 1 hour transfer (private)

Hotel possible with half board but definitely one bedroom apartment style rooms. (Essentially a door between bedroom and sofa bed.)

Resort has lots of day trip / activity options such as a marina, water park or easy access to nearby city for exploring.

Where am I describing???

Sani is a resort in Halkidiki. You could also try the Ikos hotels (the Ikos Olivia is in Halkidiki) they have a new one opening in Marbella in June.

Domes Lakes Algarve is a hotel. Sani has several hotels within one larger resort. There are several IKOS resorts.

Mallorca. It has harbours, cathedrals, zoos, water parks, the caves of drach are amazing and it's only a couple of hours away

This sounds great and I have looked at Majorca but some are over an hour transfer and others look a bit closer but in a quiet resort.

Do you know where I should be looking at to get the harbour and close access to a water park or days out please? Is it Palms Nova? (Including less than an hour transfer)

Ah is that sunset beach club? I think I saw that one when I was looking up the Benalmádena Palace hotel that someone else recommended. That resort has come up twice now and is a contender.

Have a look at sa coma or s'arenal. I don't think sa coma is much more than an hour and whilst it's a resort ive not been to yet I've heard it's very pretty

I would suggest Santa Ponsa in Mallorca, it's about 25 minutes from the airport, lovely beach, has its own little marina, lots of restaurants, easy drive to Soller for a day trip, Palma and all it has to offer is really close. We stayed in a villa though so I can't recommend a specific hotel sorry!

I love lanzarote and playa del carmen is my favourite and is a quick airport transfer and near ranch Texas. I wasn’t impressed by benalmadena, it’s a bit brits on the piss. We found taxis quite expensive. (Some ares of pdc are too but the harbour area is nice).

There's lots of hotels in Lanzarote near water parks. The Lanzasur Club in Playa Blanca is attached to one.

Costa Teguise in Lanzarote. You could try the Los zocos resort which have apartments
