I've just seen this thread. I need to book flights home to Scotland next summer for my sister's wedding so I've just checked and nothing to Edinburgh yet either

It seems to be showing flights on the EasyJet app but not the website

London to Greece booked 😊

Manchester to Greece booked here for half term. No massive cheapness to be seen but we got the seats with extra cabin baggage so we don’t have to check bags (hate, hate, hate EasyJet’s tiny carry on allowance).

Set alarm for 6am for summer holiday flights from Liverpool. Flight out was reasonable but the return was unbelievably high already. Villa already booked so had to travel on set dates. Don't feel like I had a bargain.

I’m looking for flights to Sicily in July. They are almost all blacked out from May onwards - does that mean they haven’t released them yet?

I’ve booked ours out to Venice and back from Bologna for half term. Not as cheap as I was hoping but not horrific either and at least it’s now booked!

i've ended up booking for going to visit my family in may half term, it was 120 for my son and i, i start a new job end of this month so if they refuse to give me those days and i lose the money then it's not a massive amount what i'd lose.
the flights for summer that i wanted are 800 already, no chance i'm paying that

same here @Alltheholidays i suspect the 4 seats that were available at the price it was showing are currently being purchased. But at that price we won't be going! Over £300 pp to Lanzarote, not in school holidays, without adding any luggage. I've already priced up RyanAir and Jet2 and they're similar. 😭

I just spoke to a travel agent, and due to fuel costs and other issues, all flights have increased massively. Long haul is particularly badly affected.

I got my flights at half the price the BA and Jet2 routes were showing for the same dates six weeks ago. So they are cheaper than the alternative for us right now, although I suspect seats left for those options with other airlines will now drop in price a bit.

It's also interesting how much they vary between airports......same destination on the same travel dates, with same seat / luggage options:
LGW - £270
MAN - £370
EDI - £420
Even the cost of a hold bag varies!

flipping heck, you're not wrong @EasterIssland ! I just put a couple of weekends in June into booking.com and premier inn and even PI is £300 for 2 nights. IBIS Styles £513......ermmm no, just no! Seriously, who do they think is going to pay these prices and what on earth will they be like in August for the festivals?!?
