LoveHolidays - I messed up, what can I do?

I booked a holiday online with LoveHolidays and paid a deposit. After it went through I saw there is a small mistake in my email address that I entered. So I won’t get the booking confirmation or anything else.

I can’t contact them. They don’t have an email address or phone number on the website and I can’t find any from a web search. You can only contact them online if you have a booking number, which is on the email that I won’t get. All I have is an order number, which I can’t use to contact them, it has to be the booking number.

What do I do? My phone number is correct on the booking confirmation, will they see that the email bounced and call me? Does anyone know of a phone number or email address for them?

There is a ‘need help’ function on the log in to manage my booking - one specifically says ‘don’t have your booking id’ maybe try that ?

How do I log in to Manage My Booking?
You can request Manage My Booking access by submitting the lead passenger name on your booking alongside your full booking reference here.

Your booking reference can be found on the booking confirmation email we send once a booking is confirmed. It is a reference that begins with LOV.

We will then send a one-time use access link to the email address used by the lead passenger at the time of booking. Please make sure you check your ‘junk’ mail box to ensure this email hasn’t been placed here incorrectly. Please do not use links previously sent via emails, as these will not work.

Alternatively, you can download our app for iOS or Android. With our app, to login, the lead passenger is sent a 4 digit code via SMS text message. Once the lead passenger is logged in, there is no need to log in again. Booking details stay on the app, even when there is no internet connection.

@TwoMonthsOff The FAQ has nothing that will help. You just go round in circles!
I could do @SausagePourHomme but that won’t give me access to the booking made under the wrong email address.

This exact thing happened with my MIL & Love Holidays regarding Wrong email address! She did find a phone number for them (albeit took her ages to get through) and they were really helpful. She was asked about all other details on the booking and located it for her without the reference and then swapped her email address.

Why would anyone book such an expensive thing with a company that makes it so difficult to communicate with them! Whole thing sounds utterly nuts!

Can I contact love holidays by phone?
If you do not have a LOV Booking ID reference you will not be able to log into Manage My Booking. However if your booking is due to depart in next 72 hours and your query is urgent, please call +44 1202 125 667.

I’ve just realised that’s a local phone number to me. It’s Poole/Bournemouth area code (01202)

Actually, I think she used the live chat function who then gave her a phone number

I have done the exact same thing- one letter wrong in email address. Have you had any luck with sorting this? I’ve tried leaving a message on their instagram, twitter etc and nothing yet. Getting slightly alarmed now 😬

Can you set up an e-mail address under the wrong one you gave them. Then log in and change it.

Thanks for this suggestion- I tried it this morning and the booking confirmation isn’t there ☹️ Not sure if they haven’t sent it at all or it’s already bounced back as undelivered? Cannot believe a big company like that has zero ways of reaching them

@Cismyfatarse That wouldn't work, because the email with the booking reference was already sent before the new email account existed, and you need the booking reference to login.

@jojomarieh This number worked - I think someone posted it on Twitter: 0208 175 1145. Choose the "new booking" option, not "existing booking". Nice man answered almost straight away and sorted it. Result! But they really don't want us to find that number it would seem!

I thought I got a good deal with love holidays. It seems ok but I've had to pay extra to Ryanair- going through a third party email address set up just for booking the flights - and needed to pay to confirm my identity. It wasn't much but was a real palaver.
I wouldn't book through them again.

I booked with Love Holidays, checked the flight times for the cheapest option and booked. Just before the holiday I noticed that the flights I booked were departing from one airport and arriving from a second airport! 🙈😂. We had to cancel the airport parking and book private transfers. It was my error but never again!

I’ve done exactly the same. But when you call this number it’s saying that I already have a booking so I need to contact them through manage my bookings 🥺

@Lindadc 0208 175 1145 Definitely works if you call from a different number. I tried it from my landline. Do that and you will be able to choose “new booking” and explain.

Me and my partner booked a holiday and put wrong email and was sat panicking not knowing what to do when I came across this and found the number and now it’s all sorted you guys are legends haha! Enjoy your holidays!!!
