Just that really, looking to go away with some girlfriends and would love somewhere a bit different. Any recommendations for places to go and or accommodation?.

Deal is nice. Where in the country are you?

StCharlotte · 02/05/2022 17:41

Ghent
Ljubljana
Seville
Edinburgh
Lisbon

Had some excellent girls' weekends in the above.

Do NOT be tempted by Lille.

Have fun!

I randomly went to Gdańsk a few years ago. Flew from Leeds Bradford. Great city.

seasaltandsunscreen · 02/05/2022 17:47

Salzburg or In struck. Every time.

Spudlover · 02/05/2022 17:48

Porto is one of my favourites, great weather, great food and drink and very pretty.

Spudlover · 02/05/2022 17:48

I also second Gdańsk. Lovely city near the sea.

Doubleraspberry · 02/05/2022 17:49

Stockholm. Amazing city.

Matchingcollarandcuffs · 02/05/2022 17:49

If you're wanting to travel then Lyon was amazing. For this country Canterbury is lovely and great cost in v close proximity

Copenhagen or Amsterdam
Dubrovnik
Or Pollensa in Majorca (old town)

Tagliatellme · 02/05/2022 17:56

Salzburg, Stockholm, Helsinki, Lucca. Out of all of those, think I'd pick Lucca.

Imtoooldforallthis · 02/05/2022 17:58

Some great ideas, bonus if it's cheap, either to get there, or food and drink when you get there

PAFMO · 02/05/2022 18:26

Imtoooldforallthis · 02/05/2022 18:29

Malaga city. NOT the costas, the city itself. You gals will have a ball. Shopping in and around Calle Larios, tapas, bars, restaurants, the beach, the history, the castle, the cathedral, Picasso Museum etc.
€3 bus from the airport, and it is reasonable food and drink wise if you go back a few streets from the main tourist areas.

Imtoooldforallthis · 02/05/2022 18:32

Malaga City added to the list.

Just popped in to see recommendations and now I've decided to go to Gdańsk! Yay!

I spend a lot of time in Copenhagen for work and it's lovely as is Amsterdam.

Lisbon is great.
Always fancied Prague or Talinn

Abcdefu · 02/05/2022 18:38

Belfast / Derry / Galway
