Lego land Denmark / Lalandia Billund

We are visiting Legoland and staying at Lalandia in a couple of weeks & Just wondering if anyone has any tips or recommendations?
In particular is the Gold wristband at Lalandia worth it?
Also any ways to get cheap tickets/discounts for Lego land park entry?

Last August was unusually cold - as @Favouritefruits says, hoodies and coats were the order of the day 😬

We visit Jutland every year - in the same week in August the year before the temperatures reached over 30 deg C and we were heading for the shade 😎

Last week or so of August is quietest, as the European schools have gone back then.
