DH turns 65 this year so he's mainly calling the shots. He was in the merchant navy in his youth and has been EVERYWHERE.

Planned already:
Manchester in March - huge catch up
Juan Les Pins in May - cocktails and sunbeds at Helios Plage, lunch at Hotel Cap Eden Roc and a brief snatch of the Cannes Film Festival.
Madrid in June - girly weekend
August - surprise things involving boats
September - Puglia. Mini tour to cover Matera, trulli land, the coast and the Grotta Palezzese.

We want to revisit:
Ischia
Cinque Terre
Florence/Rome/Venice

Still to do:
Scandinavia - been to Oslo but want to do the other Baltic capital cities. Considered a cruise this year to include St Petersburg which I glad we didn't book!
Costa Rica

We fly to Thailand this weekend. Then we're off to Bali in September.

We're considering Iceland early next year. Scotland next summer, then Cyprus late summer and Maldives at the end of the year.

Hoping to do Paris for the Olympics and also Zanzibar that year. May also try and fit another one in that year. Maybe skiing or South America, we haven't decided yet.

We've had a blast exploring the UK the last couple of years due to covid. Before that we'd been all over the world. We've actually decided that it's harder than it looks travelling to far flung places while the kids are young so won't be going as far. There's a few places that we want to save til it's just us travelling as a couple instead of paying for four people like Thailand , Bali and Denmark. I used to live in Thailand and I literally ache to go back but our youngest has autism and sensory issues and I know he wouldn't cope so we will go when the kids are old enough to be left.

This year we have Leeds City break in April, Portugal in May as we can take all of his usual foods and are self catering, also glamping in Northumberland in May, The Lakes in June, Scarborough in August, hot tub log cabin in N Yorks in November, hot tub cabin in The Lakes after Christmas.

Next year we hope to go back to Florida but we'll have to see if the flight prices come down as they'd doubled from when we last went in 2019.

We're going back to Mexico next year.

It was our last holiday right before Covid hit and we had such a great time that we're doing it all again. Can't wait!

You have similar holiday taste to me. I have been to all your destinations except Oregon and Yellowstone. We are also keen to visit Yellowstone and also travel further in Colorado and Wyoming. We have done some travel in northern India and have visited several wildlife reserves. We also thought Ecuador and the Galápagos Islands are exceptional. We like our wildlife holidays. When in Ecuador, go to the Ecuadorian rainforest. We stayed at Sasha Lodge and it was wonderful. Don’t miss the rainforest!
