We were about to go to the Antarctic and paid a hefty deposit! It should happen in November though. Agent has just finalised internal flights. So excited. It was meant to be our 40th wedding anniversary present to ourselves. It’s now 42nd!

You cannot guarantee to see the northern lights. If it’s cloudy - no chance.

We’ve loved seeing lots of the UK this last couple of years with our dc - so many beautiful places.

We are hoping to be able to explore more of the world with our dc in the next few years
Crete - we visited a few years ago and it was one of my favourite holidays ever

We like mountains and coasts too so really interesting to see your list

Iceland was our last trip pre covid and we’ve explored the European Alps a lot. Our main decision is what to do now - and what to wait to do until the dc have gone to uni.

I want to do a complete beach luxury trip
And also a 2 week trek somewhere.

This year we have:
Seville
New York
Corfu

All with teen DC

Next few years would like:
Costa Rica
South Korea
Seychelles or Mauritius

Dream of 4-6 months in a Greek villa with good wifi so can work from there

One day:
India
Japan
South America Inc Galapagos

Travelled a lot when younger and always want to do more.

South Africa, Malaysia, the Philippines, St Lucia & China

This year we’re hoping to go to Mexico in late October (hopefully there for Día de los Muertos).

We’re also going to travel in the UK a bit - at the moment I think I want to go to the Shetland Isles in the summer and we’ll see what else.

On my list for the next couple of year is also:

• Hokkaido in the winter
• Gates of the Arctic in Alaska
• Torres del Paine in Patagonia

Such a big world to see. Good to see travel restrictions ceasing and the world opening up again
