Lisbon. Or book last minute and pick good weather. I've done that twice before as October can be very wet.

JustJam4Tea · 15/02/2022 15:29

Malaga is surprisingly lovely.

Palma de Mallorca - you can get a train out to the north, fantastic food, great places to stay. Walkable, manageable.

Tallin.

Berlin would be top of my list though. So much to do.

gogohm · 15/02/2022 15:35

Southern Spain or Madrid are warmer, Lisbon too. Budapest is lovely and reasonably priced

Time is my favourite city. It’s beyond beautiful.

Spudina · 15/02/2022 15:56

Rome even!!

JurgensCakeBabyJesus · 15/02/2022 16:03

Berlin is amazing but I'd want more than 3 nights, Krakow is really cool, Lisbon is brilliant fun, I loved the parks and galleries in Madrid more than Barcelona but it's nice there too, Amsterdam is great if you avoid the stag party locations

ModerationInEverything · 15/02/2022 16:04

We loved Bucharest at Christmas time. Not sure what the weather is like in October.

JustJam4Tea · 15/02/2022 16:31

Belfast is great for food.

Rome too (obviously) great for food.

overthethamesfromyou · 15/02/2022 16:37

Lisbon or Berlin.

I spend the half term in the South of France. Low 20’s generally sunny. It’s a last bit of loveliness before the clocks go back.
Fly to Nice; cheap flights, quick flight, easy airport. There’s a train line that just does the coast. So pick a lovely town like Antibes, Villefranche Menton and “do” the others. Nice and Monaco are great day trips with lots to do Then you can come back for a swim and a lovely relaxing French dinner by the sea.

alltheseasons · 15/02/2022 18:53

Porto
Lisbon
Seville
Cadiz

MallampatiCatty · 15/02/2022 18:57

Both Malaga and Madrid at that time of year are great surprises. The autumn leaves in el retiro park were absolutely beautiful

Would also recommend Seville. I can't think of anywhere else that's not in Spain actually

LiveFromNewYork · 15/02/2022 19:00

Barcelona every day of the week
