Kaixo @QuentininQuarantino long time without seeing you :)

Tbh I’ve barely worn it whilst I was in Spain / Lanzarote and bcn last year … people weren’t wearing them so I wasn’t going to neither.

Just hope isolation rules are dropped soon :)

Kaixo, bai aspaldiko! I’ve not worn it either and walked past lots of Ertzaintza without it but I’m so pleased I can do that without feeling like a rebel!

Excellent news

CloudPop · 11/02/2022 09:26

And fully vaccinated over 12s can go without any tests - I believe?

maddy68 · 11/02/2022 10:13

Outdoor masks are no longer in Spain

This is good news.
Does anyone think other countries will follow?
France?

PAFMO · 11/02/2022 14:14

Outdoor masks no longer needed in Italy as of today either.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 11/02/2022 14:17

I hope they allow unvaccinated adults in come summer holidays- otherwise I’m leaving my husband behind

Tuliprain · 11/02/2022 14:21

Does insurance typically cover if your unvaccinated teen tests positive in the 72 before you go? Not booked a holiday before covid so unsure. Is insurance way more expensive than it used to be?

12+ So it doesn’t matter the age. They need a test before flying (paid pcr )

As long as they’re flying they should. Don’t think insurances ask for your vaccine status

I read its only children 12-17 and adults are still required to be fully vaccinated.

Plump82 · 11/02/2022 14:45

France is dropping masks indoors in a few weeks, so I can see them relaxing travel rules soon as well. Things are progressing so fast now, what is true today won't be true by Easter, let alone July.
coolpattern · 12/02/2022 10:59

If the 12+ kids have a certificate of recovery from Covid do they still need to pcr test?

EasterIssland · 12/02/2022 11:13

Yes. Unless you or the child’s other parent are eu nationals

spain doesn't have half term, so whilst the touristic areas were making noise about lifting the restrictions, spanish governments priority wasn't this really

Am pretty sure Spain is quite aware when school holidays are in countries that send most tourists to Spain.

Sure but might not be their highest priority at the time. Some areas of Spain are just lifting restrictions now
