.....no, have decided to delay it by a week or so......Mr Mozhe is on 'incubator watching' duties....P-in-L's are manning the home front,( and DSsX3...), with nice new aupair....and Mozhe,Nanny and DTs are off to St Barts,( in lovely Carribean...),for a week's sun/swim/chill out !!
Any one been before ? Any pointers ? Off first thing tomorrow......

that's a shame about sprots day

TootyFrooty · 17/07/2007 13:33

It's a long time since I did and sprotting.

CatIsSleepy · 17/07/2007 13:34

sprotting is sadly out of fashion these days

satine · 17/07/2007 14:16

I couldn't really care less whether Mozhe leaves her preemie baby in an incubator to go on holiday. She knows her own situation and if she feels that's best, then fine.

However it's the unnecessary details that make me sceptical - St Barts? 'commodious flight cabin'? Nanny/au pair? Good for you, love. Stop trying to show off.

And for those of you saying "she didn't ask your opinion" - by posting this thread she did.

ScottishMummy · 17/07/2007 14:35

she has just suffered the stress of a very premature baby and time sat incubator watching in scbu - why should not she spend some time with her twins and have a break so u know what is up to her - good holiday i say.as anyone who has had a preemie knows it is bloody stressful - so well deserved rest in order for Mozhe

dont care how much money anyone earns so the actual details and staffing of the holiday are irrelevent to me, but u know what she works full time , she studied for years to become a psychiatrist so it is her money her free time and her decision how to spend it imo

Pimmpom · 17/07/2007 14:37

Absolutely SHOCKING -

Blu, going to Broadstairs with a newborn

Meeeely, glad your dt's are ok now

I'm with OO. Much too much of a control freak to have nanny/au pair. If they turn out to be a complete nightmare, I want it to be all my fault!

ladylush · 17/07/2007 14:51

Now I do agree that she wanted opinion.

meandmyflyingmachine · 17/07/2007 14:55

There have been a number of comments about Kangaroo care, skin-to-skin contact and what-have-you. As far as I'm aware Mozhe isn't allowed to hold her baby. She held him briefly after he was born, but not since then.

Aitch · 17/07/2007 14:58

that's right, she that to me. but soon, she hopes. it must be very difficult.

LoveAngel · 17/07/2007 14:58

'Music and passion were always the fashion at the ...'

Enid · 17/07/2007 15:00

I think a lot of people on here aer actually quite impressed with mozhes money

I think it would be different if she said I am off to Butlins in minehead for a week

Aitch · 17/07/2007 15:00

do you know, i think all this copacabana shite is fucking rude.

Kewcumber · 17/07/2007 15:02

I just didn't get it Aitch but don't think I'm one of the gang, so suppose I wouldn't

ladylush · 17/07/2007 15:06

No i'm not in that clique either.

Tortington · 17/07/2007 15:07

i don't think anyone is actually impressed with her money. Yes i do think if she was working class the consensus would be different.

FlossALump · 17/07/2007 15:09

I can't understand how many people can be so unfeeling here. The poster in question is probably shocked by the whole thing. In any case where a person undergoes difficult events people deal with things differently. This is her way of dealing with it. It wouldn't be mine and it wouldn't be most others. But its hers and I'm not going to judge it, who am I to?

FWIW I do think she is in denial about it all and glossing over things. I also notice she has mentioned CBT in other threads. All reasons why as alien as this concept seems to us we should bear in mind it isn't us who is going through it.

Tortington · 17/07/2007 15:13

well said

ladylush · 17/07/2007 15:14

I for one don't give a shite about her dosh. Who could be impressed by that when her lo is in SCBU?

francagoestohollywood · 17/07/2007 15:15

There's not much consensus, is there? Just some of us who aren't ready to say that she's an unnatural mother, for making a choice which is difficult to understand.

Kewcumber · 17/07/2007 15:17

I think her money is a problem, as people think she is showing off. people feel entitled to be rude about her because she had the audacity to say she was taking her nanny, that she was going business class (only when someone raised DVT she didn't volunteer it) etc.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 15:20

Well that is sad cos there are plenty of minted people on this site. Tbh I think it's just being used to fuel the argument.

muppetgirl · 17/07/2007 15:25

I think she's got a bet with a mate about how many messages she can clock up.

I am message number 773.
Will she make it to 800 by 7oclock?????

I wait with baited breath.

LoveAngel · 17/07/2007 15:26

Rude to who, Aitch? To Mozhe? She's in St Barts, she doesn't give a toss. That's presuming she exists. Which, FFS, she DOESN'T. And I have as much right as all the bleeding hearts to state my opinion, as frequently as I wish to. And to take the piss as much as I want to. Why not? The whole thing is an enormous joke.

to the people who are on the thread, loveangel. it's something that people think is hilarious to do when they are no longer interested in a thread (see also _ ,'BORED now' and 'can't believe you're all still discussing this'). i just think that if you're bored with a thread then leave it alone. and what actual proof do you have that it's a joke, by the way?
