.....no, have decided to delay it by a week or so......Mr Mozhe is on 'incubator watching' duties....P-in-L's are manning the home front,( and DSsX3...), with nice new aupair....and Mozhe,Nanny and DTs are off to St Barts,( in lovely Carribean...),for a week's sun/swim/chill out !!
Any one been before ? Any pointers ? Off first thing tomorrow......

eleusis - no one is bothered about mr mozhe (either when he is absent or when he is there with the baby) What a shame for a so called emancipated generation - I'm not surprised as dh and I take it in turns to take leave when ds is ill and whenever it is dh's turn I always get the "shouldn't he be with his mummy" Erm, no cos daddy is just as loving and competent and besides ds actually prefers dh so bog off and mind yer own.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:12

Oh god not the unnatural argument.

hasn't this gone on long enough?

Its like a witch hunt.

if mozhe is for real (and I am inclined to think she is) i would be very surprised to see her back here after some of the comments that have been made.

If she doesn't come back, then you can all judge that she must've been a troll.

either way, those of you that have been particularly scathing can feel vindicated.

This just shows the worst of mumsnet IMO.

there's even someone (and it must be someone on here) who has changed their name to mozheisfakeandhorrid trying to stir things up further.

disgusting, all of it.

It's got nothing to do with Mr Mozhe's role in the family. Would people go off on a foreign holiday when their husband is on life support?

LoveAngel · 17/07/2007 12:24

LoveAngel does the splits in a purple, Madonna-stylee leotard

I'm not sure mohze is around. Didn't I hear something about her going to St Barts. Apparently its in the Carribean .

Jeremyvile - where did you get numpty from? My DD thinks that is her own word and i didn't think I had heard it anywhere else

Pennies · 17/07/2007 12:32

I'm with Awen on this one. I don't give two hoots about the actaul action - each to their own and all that - just the authenticity.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:36

isn't numpty scottish?

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:37

chocolatedot it depends what your husband is like. I wouldn't.

I feel fricking sorry for people with genuine 'long haul' holiday requests. They're getting no love at all these past few days, por sods. Think we should all stop giving the fictitious one airtime and start googling 'Cheapest airfares to Perth' and 'Hotels in Vegas' pronto. Its only fair.

pagwatch · 17/07/2007 12:50

Ladylush
Is it scottish? Where did she get it from in Surrey ? I was so pleased because she thought she had made it up. A nice term of abuse for her older brothers. She needed something safe after her " Fuck its rainning" in town last week She's four.

whywhywhy · 17/07/2007 12:52

Eleusis and Ladylush are damn right about the Victorianism on display in this thread.

It's stuff like this that makes me think feminism really failed. She's 'unnatural', eh? Rather than just being a person who makes a decision you wouldn't make.

The baby needs looking after, breastmilk and skin to skin contact, yes; and it appears he's getting those things. Personally I would want to be next to him if he were mine, probably just stressing and worrying and being no help to him; but clearly she trusts her dh to watch over him.

Oh, and to 'bond' with him, because of course this 27wk gestation newborn is going to 'miss his mummy' and know that she's an UNNATURAL woman who has abandoned him. Sob.

The conventionalism and sentimentality of that attitude is sadly not shocking, but it is depressing.

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:53

PMSL - did you? Haven't heard ds swear properly yet, though he went through a phase of saying "bugger" and "fack". He just turned 3.

IntergalacticWalrus · 17/07/2007 12:55

are you lot still on this, you mad old birds?

ladylush · 17/07/2007 12:56

I am mad, they're just old birds.
