WE went to Menorca in the last week of October and it was lovely. 20-25 degrees most days.

CountessDracula · 10/07/2007 15:48

Presumably one cannot really wait and do last minute at half term?

OP posts:
CountessDracula · 10/07/2007 15:48

Crete is good, Cyprus, Northern Tenerife (South foul), SA, Tunisia, Morocco... friend went to Club Med in Morocco, said t'was wonderful

LIZS · 10/07/2007 15:49

Our still liked the beach , even if too cold for the sea ! Some hotels have indoor or covered pools.

CountessDracula · 10/07/2007 15:49

Spain and Italy are generally pretty warm in Oct aren;t they if you stick to the south. Or north Africa or cape Town. Or Crete is nice.

Are we getting sucked into another debate which is going to result in you saying "but I can;t go anywhere

-they speak Greek

  • eat lemons
  • have a vowel in the name..."
willow · 10/07/2007 15:51

Morocco ones very low key - not all group games and stuff. She would have killed herself if had been like that.

Are you at home? If so, want to come round for cuppa?

Kewcumber · 10/07/2007 15:51

think there is a hurricane risk in caribbean in Oct isn't there.
