Absence from school fines

Hi. Daughter is in yr 8 and has gone on holiday with her dad and Nan for 10 days. Will I be fined £60 per day? Help. Worried about how much this fine will be?

She’s having a great time. I’d never want to deny her an opportunity like that, even though I miss her terribly :( Thanks x

I googled a local council website and it says "If a FPN is issued, it will be one fine to cover the whole period of the absence. So the fine would be the same amount for an absence of five days or 10 days."

When my ex took my children out of school I emailed the school saying it was there dad taking them away not me and I didn't agree but as he had parental rights it was his choice and any fine should be sent to him at so and so address, which they did and I never heard another thing about it
