CARS THAT TAKE 3 CAR SEATS IN THE BACK?!

Currently we have a Rover 620, nice car, reliable etc. Doubt we can really afford to get a new car once baby is born either, but if needs must!

So, what cars take 3 car seats in the back?

I will have a 3yr old, 2yr old and a newborn.

That's mad NannyL as I have hardly any room between the two seats as it is. We would have been getting a bigger car next year anyway as I'm OK when driving but DP complains that DD1 kicks him in the back a lot. I'm so short she has plenty of room when I'm driving. I also find getting them in and out a hassle sometimes but I think thats just children and car seats.

JARM I have a zafira and only has lapbelt in the middle. I have a rear/forward facing britax seat, a forward facing britax and a maxi cosi rodi booster. All of them fit in without a problem. They all also fitted into our renault scenic which had 3 full seat belts in the back.

Which do you prefer Nemo the Zafira or the Scenic?

I think the Zafira would be too big with only 3 also with my driving and parking???

I can get 3 car seats in the back of my Volvo V40.

Sweetkitty size wise there is not actually much noticable difference. I just like the fact I have the extra 2 seats for when the tribe are older and wanting to take friends along on days out!!! The boot is maybe a little bigger than the scenic but all in all its like for like. I think when you first get in any car that size from a smaller one [I had a saxo before we bought the scenic] they always feel huge and wagonish. In reality though they are fab, space is what you need especially when carting a trio around

Hello, just to add to this that I am still looking for narrow car seats and have found one on elitecarseats.com a sunshine kids radian, which is 'unique' in being designed to fit 3 across the back row! Unfortunately it is a US site, so I don't know if you can get them here, but I'm off to have a look. Sad, me?.....

I too haave a 3yr an 2yr and well 11 week not new born.
Life is fun now.
citroen c4 grandis picasso fits 3 and also 2 grandparents in the boot.
