What's your budget? People will suggest places like the Ikos Olivia, which could easily cost well over £5k for a week in August.

Grand Palladium Resort Riviera Maya - about an hour south of Cancun. Huge as it’s 4 hotels in one but so much choice, great food and pools.

pinkmagic1 · 02/05/2018 09:43

Jungle Aqua Park, Hurghada, Egypt.

Blue Lagoon Village in Kos is very highly rated and very luxurious but it's isolated and I find Kos a bit windy.

Synecdoche · 02/05/2018 09:49

Almyra in Paphos, Cyprus. Amazing!!

StrugglingMumma · 02/05/2018 11:06

Forgot to add, budget is around £7-8K for two weeks

pinkmagic1 yesssssss how great is that place

foobio · 02/05/2018 11:14

Not quite all inclusive (excludes drinks and 2 evening meals a week) but we love Neilson if you like watersports. The kids clubs cover all ages including teens and keep kids entertained in activities so that you can go out and enjoy the free activities yourself (sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, wake boarding, tennis, mountain biking, road cycling, fitness).

dontknowwasmadetoknow · 02/05/2018 14:53

We loved Jewel Runaway Bay in Jamaica

Bitchywaitress · 02/05/2018 14:56

Bit over budget but Lily Beach in the Maldives has ruined all other All Inclusives for me forever.

For example the all inclusive wine is a list of 70 different types. The food is incredible. Amazing for kids as well.

StrugglingMumma · 02/05/2018 17:42

Thanks everyone.. will get researching tonight 😊

Likewise! That place was sheer heaven. The cocktails were amazing. We planted a coconut tree there!

BusyBee27 · 06/05/2018 17:56

Nonsuch Bay in Antigua ... amazing food, super-friendly staff and lots of sailing/water-related activities Smile

Betty24 · 06/05/2018 19:01

These all sound amazing! Nothing to add except we are trying to find the same sort of hol for our honeymoon in August so I will be lurking! We had Ikos recommended but was over budget. What is Caribbean weather like in August - super hot?

Betty24 · 06/05/2018 19:10

Lily Beach looks incredible - want!

Fintress · 07/05/2018 06:44

@Betty24, only AI I know that serves Taittinger champagne on all inclusive! Also branded cigarettes if you are a smoker.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 07/05/2018 07:11

Sensatori on Riviera Maya, exceptional food across 7 restaurants. Best holiday ever.

Betty24 · 07/05/2018 11:49

Haha Fintress - I spotted that on the website!! We have been talked out of it by travel agent though as think 8 year old may get bored and also is terrified by thought of sea plane! Maybe in a few years for an anniversary trip!

We are looking at Mauritius now and considering La Pirogue - cheaper option than Greece or Sardinia!

I was shocked at the cost of holidays to Europe! More bang for your buck long haul. Saying that we are going to Greece in a few weeks, only because it's just been months since we did a long haul holiday and want some sun just a few hours away rather than having to take 2 or 3 flights. Mauritius is lovely apparently.

BigSandyBalls2015 · 07/05/2018 12:38

Grand Palladium Ibiza

JessyJames · 07/05/2018 12:50

La Pirogue is very nice, although I've only visited the hotel (been to the casino) not stayed overnight.

It's on a lovely beach with excellent snorkeling.

Unihorn · 07/05/2018 12:55

Olympic Lagoon Resort in Cyprus had the best food of any hotel I've been to, but not as much to do as some. Grand Xcaret in Riviera Maya had a bit of everything and great food.

Betty24 · 07/05/2018 13:04

Thanks JessyJames and Fintress, La Pirogue is a strong contender, been a bit swayed by the Riveria Maya though!

Thanks OP , this thread has really helped the search! Good luck with yours too.

LizzieMacQueen · 07/05/2018 13:13

I like Mark Warner. Have only between to the Lemnos one. It is small and the food and watersports were really good.

HermioneWeasley · 07/05/2018 13:17

The Hilton in Dalaman/sarigerme (turkey)
