I also recommend Mexico! We went on a spur of the moment holiday and with no expectations as it had never been on our list of places we wanted to go to. Turned out to be a bloody amazing holiday, lots to do and we swam with whale sharks which was a big highlight for us.

Thanks for your advice. I'm going to save this for next year as we have ended up taking advantage of the 2for1 offer with Beaches. We are off to Ocho Rios in Jamaica.
