Our local church have an easter club for the first three mornings for the kids. I shall be catching up on housework while they are there and saving one morning for quality coffee and catch up chatting with some mums from school that I haven't had chance to talk to in ages.
Rest of hols still free but will soon fill up with days out etc - just waiting to see what weather brings before we decide.

collision · 29/03/2007 23:12

Just looking forward to lazy mornings without the school rush! Hoping the weather is good so we can spend lots of time in the garden & out on bikes. Also plan to catch up with friends & their children. Must get some housework & some coursework done too though!

unknownrebelbang · 29/03/2007 23:20

Glad to hear it!

Sounds a lovely place to live - and I'm vv jealous about being so close to legoland, lol. (Got friends who live on the doorstep and have the annual pass - think it's great).

Not as cheap as up here I'm guessing though, lol.

For the first time in I don't know how long, I have no mindees for 2 whole weeks! So me and dd(11) are going to have a lovely couple of weeks re-bonding!

We've got 2 trips to London planned. One with the Guides. We're doing Dungeons, London Eye & IMAX 3D all on the same day! DD wants to do Science Museum on the other London day. Easter Egg hunt in local church, cinema, meeting up with schoolies and probably a couple of veggin out days! I can't wait - the fun starts at 1.30pm tomorrow.

Polgara2 · 29/03/2007 23:48

Hmmphh!!! Sore point - literally! Looking for one-handed activities as dd1 and I have just spent 3 hours at the hospital and she is now sporting a luvverly half cast on her wrist. She was supposed to be going swimming amongst other things and IS NOT impressed. Neither was I after 3 hours .

littleEasterlapin · 29/03/2007 23:51

DS's first birthday! and DH on leave, hurrah!

collision · 30/03/2007 10:34

OP posts:
Hulababy · 30/03/2007 10:47

DD breaks up at noon today and has three weeks of.

Tomorrow we are going to stay in a cottage for a week near North Yorkshire. We are going with friends - one of DD's schoolmates and parents. Hoping to go to Flamingo Land and the coast.

Week after I have to work 3 days. DD will go to parents and also one day to Katz's house. Meeting a friend on the Friday I think.

Third week DD has a party mid week at a friend's house, amdnd I have to work Tuesday. Other than that no plans yet for rest of week.

OP posts:
princesscc · 30/03/2007 11:21

Polgara2 - howz dd? Have you been able to see a doctor yet? On the brighter side of things, if she has broken it or got a greenstick, they'll put a lighter cast on it so it won't be quite so difficult to do things. She'll get to choose a pretty colour for it too! When my dd did the same, it was the end of the world, but she soon got used to it. Word of advise tho, don't play snap with her, like I did - she nearly broke MY wrist slapping her hand down and saying snap!!

I'll prob be bumping into you at swinley forest, collision!
The forcast is good, so we'll def be heading over there. I've been tempted by legoland passes too, but they are so strict abotu having an adult per child for the kiddy rides, I can't really take the dts on my own.

the kids have a few playdates arranged, then fri we have the live scooby doo show to go to at hammersmith. Then for the second week the kids are off to different sets of grandparents and dp and I are off to Nice!
