Has anyone booked Summer 2018 yet?

I'm a holiday obsessive and booked our summer holiday for next year already?

Myself, DH and DSs (15 and 9) flying to Dubrovnik, 4 nights in an apartment in the old town for exploring and boat trips out to the islands.
Hire car and drive to Durmitor national park in Montenegro. Lake swimming/hiking/cycling for 3 nights. Then 4 nights on the bay of Kotor in a small resort with a pool.

Anyone else?

I like planning well ahead. That why spent last few days here looking for inspiration. Which airlines are you flying with? I thought next year's flights are not out yet

Theimpossiblegirl · 14/08/2017 20:39

Not yet, we're trying to see if we can fit 2 weeks between a wedding and GCSE results day to go to Mexico. It's too far to go for less time. If not, we're also looking at Croatia for about 10 days. I love planning holidays.
:)

Monarch have flights out a year ahead and my reconnaissance told me the last place I wanted to stay gets booked up really early. I can relax now that I've secured the booking.

Yep I'm on the verge of booking for Hong Kong for me and my dcs
Been toying with the idea for a year but chickened out this year

Just waiting for flights to be released then I'm doing it Grin

Theimpossiblegirl · 14/08/2017 23:37

No, I haven't, the whole area looks beautiful.

thenightsky · 14/08/2017 23:39

I'm looking at booking a week in Madeira to lock down the current price, which is £200 less pp than we paid this year.

daffodilbrain · 15/08/2017 08:18

When are next year flights release we want a few days in Barcelona in April/Easter?

HeadDreamer · 15/08/2017 08:21

I think international long haul is only 9 months ahead MozzChops so you still have lots to wait.

I have booked for Kos AI after this year disappointing august in the U.K. Thinking about 2019 already. I like to know exactly where I will going before the summer a year ahead as that's when I will book.

HeadDreamer · 15/08/2017 08:22

daffodilbrain most flights are 9 months.

exLtEveDallas · 15/08/2017 08:25

I'm looking already but haven't booked anything yet. We were considering Turkey again but all the flights are at horrible times so I've knocked that on the head.

At the moment Greece looks most likely, although DD wants me to book a safari park type hotel in Benidorm, so who knows?

Northumberlandlass · 15/08/2017 08:25

OP - I'm doing Dubrovnik, a couple of islands and Split next week for 10 days.
Next year isn't booked, but we have agreed on Krakow at end of May & Iceland at the end of October so we can save.
DS has a ski trip in January and we'll probably take 2 weeks off in the summer hols for day trips etc!

KeepCalm · 15/08/2017 08:28

I am impatiently waiting on DH to tell me his allocated annual leave them am
Searching!

I really fancy Croatia!

ShanghaiDiva · 15/08/2017 08:33

I thought I had planned well ahead with booking for Chinese New Year in Feb ( going to Cambodia) but not thought about the summer yet.
I would really love to go to Croatia too, but as we are currently based in China we usually go to NZ or Oz for long haul. It's top of my list when we move back to UK.

tinytemper66 · 15/08/2017 08:43

Med cruise in May half term as my husband has no holidays when I am off in the 6 weeks. Booked early to have the cabin I wanted. Never done a cruise before so a little nervous.

MozzchopsThirty · 15/08/2017 10:17

Most are 11 months but I'm waiting for emirates which are closer to 9 months

KeepCalm · 15/08/2017 15:23

@ShanghaiDiva am the opposite. Am hoping for Oz at Easter to visit friends and waiting on DH's annual leave.....

Hersetta427 · 15/08/2017 16:29

11 nights in a 5 star hotel in Turkey in August.

Tour · 15/08/2017 16:33

Yes. Just got back and booked two weeks in Puerto Pollensa next year. Fancy Croatia as well. Off to google weather in March.

onemouseplace · 15/08/2017 16:37

Yes, we booked Greece for next May half term about 3 weeks after we got back this year. I'm really glad we did as well, as the combination of being able to fly Mon - Mon because of an inset day and being on the ball meant we got a good deal on flights.

coldflange · 15/08/2017 16:40

No.i wont know where I/we fancy until nearer the time.

However no school aged DC so it doesn't matter when who.

Finlaggan · 15/08/2017 17:42

Currently searching for next years perfect holiday!

KeepCalm · 15/08/2017 17:57

Anyone done Croatia in October? We've done turkey & Greece and it was a tad hit & miss each time!

Noofly · 15/08/2017 18:26

We have 6 nights in Florence in Feb booked and am just waiting to find out when DD's summer drama camp will be next summer so we can book 2 weeks in Vancouver and Whistler.

Ollycat · 15/08/2017 18:30

I am in Croatia (Korcula and Split) at the moment- very lovely but has been very hot (Lucifers fault!!)
