I am really excited and esp as it was so unexpected

I haven't told DD - but DH & I are really chuffed

It will hardly cost anything (just food) & it's such an easy drive from here

FrannyandZooey · 01/03/2007 21:39

Oh Katy we stayed near there once and the horse would go clopping past at odd times, it was lovely

Dp was still a drinker in those days and would sit misty eyed by the window drinking Adnams and saying "I blardy love that beer hoss, I do"

simplycontrolfreaky · 01/03/2007 21:42

Katymac · 01/03/2007 21:45

I love the Blue Lighthouse Restaurant & it was such a shame when that lovely restaurant just down the road closed

simplycontrolfreaky · 01/03/2007 21:54

lol at blue lighthouse.... strawberry in your salad anyone?
love sue's cafe on the beach / the hunkin machines on the pier / the high street / the boating lake / the tennis courts / the mad cinema..... everything.
how old is dd?

Katymac · 01/03/2007 21:59

9

Don't eb mean about the BLH - there are very few restrauants I can eat at........DD loves their lasagne

We wnet to the crown (I think?) for sunday lunch - it was fab - but not a lot for me to eat - DD was in her element

OP posts:
simplycontrolfreaky · 01/03/2007 22:04

what do you need to eat / avoid?

Katymac · 01/03/2007 22:13

cheese/pasta/rice anything very mucked about with really

It's IBS with a touch of faddyness & I am a real apin whne it is just the 3 of us - when others are around I just end up with something deep fried (scampi/plaice etc) which although it will upset me - I can to some extent control it

I had some fab chicken this week cooked in mustard in an olive bread & that wasn't too bad (tasted fab tho')

simplycontrolfreaky · 01/03/2007 22:15

marks fish and chips at top of high street is fantastic if that is ok for you
and on thattheme you cant beat fish and chips on the beach atdunwich imo...

Katymac · 01/03/2007 22:18

You might well find me

DH is a 6ft 2 Jamaican
DD is drop dead gorgeous (I can't even blush when I say that as it's true...sorry)

I am dead boring kinda middle aged and ordinary - but I have referred to a picture on-line of me this last week - you will never find it tho'

OP posts:
simplycontrolfreaky · 01/03/2007 22:26

Katymac · 01/03/2007 22:29

Would it be easier to just meet on the Pier at such & such a time?

OP posts:
Skyler · 01/03/2007 22:30

I love Southwold. We will be at MIL's near Felixstowe for Easter and visiting my Mum near Woodbridge so might trek up if the weather is nice. Shall we make badges?

simplycontrolfreaky · 01/03/2007 22:32

that'd be nice.... my dh would never get it though..... "we're meeting who? katymac? someone you met on the internet????" etc. will starta thread nearer the time and make a cunning plan....

simplycontrolfreaky · 01/03/2007 22:33
