Whoopie - I get to go to Southwold for the Easter weekend

I am really excited and esp as it was so unexpected

I haven't told DD - but DH & I are really chuffed

It will hardly cost anything (just food) & it's such an easy drive from here

I met a Mnetter by arrangement in EGYPT & DH while a little disconcerted seemed to cope well

DD was totally accepting

Maybe we should advertise a MN Meetup for Southwold Easter Weekend?

Yes, I will get planning. Last time I was chatting on MN about the Suffolk coast I was talking about Aldeburgh with SecondhandRose and she had seen my parents on the seafront (they have an unusual dog). When she first described where they were and what they were doing I thought 'Yeah right', but I spoke to my Mum and asked what she was eating on the bench by blah blah and she said 'What?? How do you know that' etc

I live about 40 mins from Southwold and go there really often with my 2 dds and dp. May well be coming this weekend - but got my brother visiting, and if he brings his new girlfriend we can't all fit in the car!
