I normally start this thread every year (apologies if there has already been one -can't see one though) but where is everyone planning to go in 2017? I love to hear everyone's plans and all the interesting and lovely places you are all thinking of heading!

I really want to go to China and Japan. Not very likely but I can dream. Most likely a week on a relatives farm, which will be lovely anyway.

Paris in May half term. Dorset in July. Would like to fit in a city break with DH at some point (would be Lisbon if so) but think we'll probably run out of holiday as we'll prioritise DS not going to holiday clubs and so take holiday separately to cover as much of the school holidays as possible.

diamantegal · 02/01/2017 00:29

Oh, and Poland and maybe Switzerland, but those are work so don't count, although still interesting to see different places.

lovelyupnorth · 02/01/2017 02:49

We are finally off abroad again after having our twins 2 years ago!! We are off to Marrakech in May to celebrate my 40th birthday and my extremely kind parents are having our girls for the whole week, doing all the nursery drop offs and pick ups and everything (AND she asked what I wanted for my birthday!! - Nothing of course, that is more than enough!)
We have booked the best hotel we could find and have a jacuzzi on the balcony - I cannot wait!!

Then we are taking the girls on their first ever holiday in September to my parents' house in Almeria, Spain, with them and our friends are also coming with their little girl too. Should be a lot of fun

LouiseBrooks · 04/01/2017 13:24

Lots of us off to South Africa! DH and I are off to CT for 3 weeks at the end of the month. His family all live there. Hoping to go away somewhere else later in the year as a surprise trip for DH's 40th, but depends on finances. I'd really like to take him to the US Grand Prix but that would be a very expensive trip
