Is there a eurocamp site in France close to an airport?

I am considering taking my two children abroad on my own for the first time at half term. I fancied a eurocamp type holiday but don't want to drive over there. Are there any eurocamps near airports where we could get a taxi for a reasonable cost?

Iirc, there's an airport, Beziers, nearish to the place we stayed in Languedoc.

If you look at the Eurocamp website, it's right on the south coast. Can't remember the name sorry, but it seemed popular.

I remember seeing another thread about ones near train stations.

I think Beziers was mentioned along with some others.

Beziers is about 15 mins in a taxi from Vias Plage - all the major companies have mobile homes there. Siblu, canvas, Thomson Alfresco, Eurocamp.

Ile de Re is very close to la Rochelle airport and there is a bus straight from airport to campsites on teh island.

La Sirene isn't too far from Perpignan

hereis not far from Perpignan airport - cost us 50euros each way or you could get train. Campsite Can order taxis.

I did this on my own with my 2 dc and it was so easy - bus stop and tourist train directly outside camp site, 20 mins walk into marina - longer into tourist rat death trap of Jain report which we totally avoided all holiday accept for 1 session given to dd's tat fest obsession! Lovely sure, fantastic pool and views from pool but a bit hilly as in foothills of Pyrenees. Can go to Spain easily.

Or here which us fabulous and my first holiday as a single parent - hit absolutely everything you need and can easily get to Venice. We went back the following year which is unheard of for me!! You can either get a taxi (was 89e a few years ago each way) or get the local bus with a change at San Dona di Piave but bus driver moved our luggage for us! Amazing place - want to go back!!

Makemineapot your link re your first holiday as a single parent doesnt work could you let me know where it was please.

I have been to la sirene near Perpignan several times in the past, I loved it but want to try somewhere new.

I am considering il de re, it looks lovely and my eldest loves cycling, only problem is it's for half term and the advance weather forecast doesn't look too good.

Beziers looks fab as well.

It was Portofelice, a fab campsite just north of Venice, fantastic place!

We went to a Thomson al Fresco site in spain a few years ago
Flew to Barcelona and had a pre booked taxi to site
It was Vilanova Park. Very busy with quite a bit going on.
