Budget for Florida Holiday?

We're a family of 2 parents and 3 DCs and are planning on an once-in-a-lifetime Florida holiday in 2015..

We'd like to stay at a villa for 2 weeks in Orlando to do,the parks then 1 week somewhere by a beach, Clearwater?

Will have to go in school holidays.......

Any ideas on ball park figure?

We are planning similar trip. One week Atlanta Georgia and two weeks Florida including Disney+ pass for the family for one week. Two adults and three kids. Can't seem to do it for less than 8,000
Which is a lot more than I expected.

I am not so keen on Disney so cutting price down by just getting two day pass to universal and sea world only.

Looked into villa and hotel prices and not able to see much difference in cost.

Reviewers say don't go in August! Too hot for the kids. But we have to go I school holidays.

Atlanta is a must as we have friends to see. Happy to take advice on two weeks doing something else with kids. Age 5, 8, and 10
