How did a tiny little wriggly worm end up in a top floor bedroom on the arm of my DH's pjyama top?

I thought this thread said 'How did a WOMAN end up on DH's pyjama top' which would be more worrying...

Rhubarb · 20/01/2006 10:05

Why is it in Travel? You think that you dh's pj sleeve is a top holiday destination for worms!

Probably was on the bottom of someone's shoe and got carried upstairs where it wiggled onto your dh's pj top.

Flamesparrow · 20/01/2006 10:05

I like the fact that this is in travel .

The wriggly little guys can travel far though - it might have gotten on someone's trousers, walked through the house, and then fallen off in his room....?

Enid · 20/01/2006 10:06

are you really thinking about this?

I found a slug in dd1s knicker drawer the other day but I didn't give it another thought

Rhubarb · 20/01/2006 10:07

Ewwwww!

Enid · 20/01/2006 10:09

hey shit happens.

desperatehousewife · 20/01/2006 10:26

man o man - it really shook us up this morning! you should have seen him jump out of bed and panic trying to get aforementioned jim-jam top off! It was hilarious.

This was after he fell through the floorboards in the living room last week and has a bruise the size of 2 hands on his thigh.

God we're living on our nerves at the moment

I can't believe you lot are so unbothered by the worm story. Am still in shock!

When you say a tiny little wriggly worm, I am thinking it crawled out of hs bottom up his PJs

Worms

desperatehousewife · 20/01/2006 21:42

NO! not from his bottom. . He doesn't wear jim-jams at night, just puts them on to go and make my cup of tea every morning (how lucky am I?!) He put them on this morning and infact I went and made the tea and when I got back - small worm on the arm of his pjs. coulnd't have been walked in on a shoe as it would have got squished surely.

WestCountryLass · 20/01/2006 21:44

Curiouser and curiouser....

desperatehousewife · 20/01/2006 21:45

desperatehousewife · 20/01/2006 21:46

WestCountryLass · 20/01/2006 21:51

I was trying to think of a logical explanation and that was what sprang to mind.

So whereabouts is your DH from?

I am still puzzled about the worm though, could you position some micropore tape when he is asleep

desperatehousewife · 21/01/2006 15:03

ok, worm free today thank god.

he's from sherborne

I got home a few weeks ago to find dh coming out of the bathroom with a slug crawling up his neck Another of life's mysteries, esp that he didn't feel it. Was very funny watching him scrub himslf in a hot Dettol bath though.Yuck. Good job we'd already got pregnant by then, or it might have put me off trying

desperatehousewife · 21/01/2006 15:14

oh dear god!

So do you hang your washing outside?

Could the top have fallen on the floor and said worm wriggled in his pocket thinking it was a nice comfy home?
