Edinburgh offers

Anyone got an offer from Edinburgh this year or still waiting to hear? Seems to be taking ages. I know they’re normally later.

Nothing yet. DD currently on gap year so offer will be unconditional. Only heard from Liverpool so far out of UCL, Kings College London, Edinburgh and Exeter.

DD got an offer for Physics

Dc has Chemistry offer

Think I’m being impatient. Only one we haven’t heard from and first choice.

Offers from Liverpool and King's College London. Rejection from UCL. Still waiting for Edinburgh and Exeter.

No. But no one else has either. Only one girl for chemistry. So frustrating. She really wants it.

Got both twin sons awaiting decisions from Edinburgh, heard from every other uni apart from Kings. They must get them out soon surely?!

Still waiting but Dd has an interview next week.

Is everyone still waiting? Dd has one friend with an offer for music which they received last month but another who has heard nothing. It's dd's first choice so are waiting with baited breath to hear. I'd love her to go there but am getting increasingly frustrated with their lateness, particularly in a year where giving students somewhere to aim for might act as a good counterbalance to the general stress and anxiety being caused by the mystery exam scenario they are all facing this year!
If you work for Edinburgh Uni and know anyone in admissions, please pop to their desk first thing Monday and give them a polite kick up the backside from all students and parents of students waiting to hear. Thanks

Edinburgh made an announcement yesterday that they had been waiting for an announcement from Scottish Funding which apparently came out on 24/3 and this had direct impact of how many places they can offer. Now they have this info they have said they should be able to start making decisions but don't hold your breath they said offers will be through by the end of April.

End of April!!!!

Great news!

Offer today (on gap year so has results already), decided not to take it and to go to Kings College London instead.

Congratulations to all those with offers from Edinburgh. My DD is still waiting to hear, she has 4 offers so is just waiting on Edinburgh before she confirms her firm and insurance choices.

Ah, I have found my frustrated and nervous people! Ds is still waiting on an offer. How's everyone else's dc? I am fighting the urge to anonymously ring the admissions office on a daily basis. Ds would kill me. I do think it's adding to his stress though, not knowing. It's his first choice (of course ).
