Help! University not processing transcript so son can't apply for Masters degree.

Ds completed his degree this year and was awarded a First. He wishes to start a Masters this autumn, but his applications are stalled due to his university not forwarding a pdf of his transcript to prove he has actually graduated. One of his application deadlines is next week.

He has contacted his tutors and the department responsible, but nobody appears to be interested.

He is also planning on applying to the Civil Service this autumn and it may affect this process as well.

Please, does anybody have any advice on what to do?

And then obviously recorded using proprietary software which is clunky and error prone. It’s time consuming.

Another really time consuming thing is making sure all teaching materials and lecture slides are up on our VLE in good time before the lecture takes place and making sure the material is accessible ( now a statutory requirement).

It's not a case of writing a few notes and just turning up and talking .... the preparation required is huge.

My students expect module plans so I know exactly what subject I'll be covering in all my lectures up until April next year and the lecture slides should be available a week before each lecture.

I suspect I gave more than any other practising lawyer but that's neither here nor there. I only mentioned it to point out I had done some speaking. I realise it is not the same as university lectures to undergraduates. (In fact in some weeks I was doing 3 a week speaking all day and then doing client work until mid night - not fun particularly if you are up half the night breastfeeding but it served its purpose and I was lucky people were happy to pay me for it - getting paid for your marketing is quite a good system)....

Or postgrad's ( I know I'm being picky but 🤷🏼‍♀️)
I now only teach postgraduate students. I run two professionally accredited masters and, to return to the original point, probably the only bit I'm not responsible for is the transcripts.

Being a lecturer is soooooo much more than giving lectures.
