To echo Abra1de, DD did not hear from three till late March. There were others on the thread, or lurking, who picked up offers in May and August. Worse as everyone else at school is talking about offer days and accommodation, or able to put their heads down to focus on meeting grades.
Perhaps a good exercise in time management. The only thing you can really impact are grades. This has to be the focus. And easy to see why having been through it once re applicants often do well. There is a lot of learning to be gained from having been through the process before.
One of the nicest things that happened to DD was in March when her friend congratulated her on her offer. He had just been rejected for the fourth time, so understood how much the offer meant to her. A lovely boy, and something I hope that has cemented a long-term friendship, despite their different directions.
