What do your grandchildren call you

I am thrilled that my granddaugher (21 months) today gave me the wonderful name of Biyer (hence my nickname). Not sure how she gets there from grandma or how we spell it but at least I know she really knows me.

What do your grandkids call you that is different.

DH has always been Danga to the DGCs . I'm just Granny. Can't stand Nan or Nanny.

I have a Nana and Grandad, and a Nona and Pops.

DS used to call my Mum Mimi, then Ga-Ma. We thought he'd never call her Grandma. I think she was quite sad when he actually did.

Great grandparents are both Nanny and Gramps and my Dad is Gramps.

The most common grandparent names used amongst people we know Nan, Nanna, Nanny, Gran, Grandma and Grandad.

My favourites are Granny, Gramps and Grandpa.

Aggy. He couldn't manage nanna!

I'm Nonna, dh is Pops. My dc call their grandparents Nanny and Gramgram.

My dad is known as Pa, and my mum gran to our dc, mil is grandma and late fil was poppa.

Nanny followed by my first name :)

My parents are Nana and Grandad but DD called my Dad, dada , for a long time (DH was daddy though not dada - i just realised how that sounds!). Now she calls him Ba-dan.

Sadly DD doesn't see much of paternal grandparents so doesn't understand who they are and doesn't call them anything.

She does have 3 parental great grandparents though, one of whom is Nanny bikit (biscuit - because Nanny gives her biscuits).
