Y6 level 6 extra SATS papers

Anyone's DCs schools doing these?
DD2 has been offered the chance of joining a group doing the maths one.

Our school isn't doing any level 6 papers. I spoke to DD's teacher about it and the school feel that as it wouldn't benefit the children or school they would rather the children get to do something fun after their hard work rather than doing more exams than necessary.
