Morning

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/06/2010 09:16

I have a pot belly. A proper sticky outy pot belly.

I think I may stick to protein only today.

DS has his school trip to the Zoo tomorrow. I am wibbling a little bit.

Please tell me I am being stupid and I won't go to pick him up and be presented with a chimp in his uniform due to a mix up.

jetcat · 29/06/2010 09:27

happy anniversary double

bitter - am sure he will be fine, just worry if he brings home a little friend!

Piddling down here today - at least it has cooled the air down a little.

Bad news on nursery front though, teacher just informed me that they wont be doing full days from september (2.5 days a week) which was the only thing keeping me going at tthe moment if i am honest. I am still really struggling going back and forth twice a day - although teacher did say i could pick mini up 15 mins early so there is not too many people - but then she would lose some of her time there - which she loves Only other option is to take her out of nursery all together and put her back in the private one - though that would cost about £30 per week to top up to 2.5 days I got so worked up when teacher was telling me, i cried in front of her

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 29/06/2010 09:46

Jet, I thought nurseries weren't allowed to charge 'top up' fees if they are accepting the free places?

I hope you sort something out.

Cuppa?

Bitter - tis allowed to chrage top up at private but not state run ones. PLus you will be fine. Ds will have a fun time, come home safe and refuse to tell you anything about what he has been doing. Be grumpy as hell cos he has done so much he is tired and needs an early night. that will be the worst of it.

Jet - it will be ok. you will manage. plus the back and forth bit whilst hard is a small step forward to doing whatever you want to do. you want to be able to do the PGCE course your need to be able to stand in front of 25-30 faces and keep them in control. Dont look at it as a bad thing look at it as a small achievable step. You CAN do this!

Right that is my cmoputer time for now. Have a good day.

jetcat · 29/06/2010 10:01

thanks guys. Mini is at school nursery for the free 15 hours, spread over 5 mornings. Private nursery do offer the free 15 hours, which they work out as taking £35 off the weekly bill. So, at £32 per day, to get the 2.5 days per week, i would need to pay at least another £30 per week. I know she doesnt have to go for the full 2.5 days, but i need her to go - to get a break

To see her playing with her friends at school nursery though is wonderful - something that never happened with junior, and i know that is where she would be happier. Its all a bit much at the moment, so will stop rabbiting on about it

Saf - if you are scared of driving in the car cant you book some simulator lessons with BSM (or another provider). It really helped me when i first started as I could concentration on what doing without worrying about killing someone.

Mouseface · 29/06/2010 10:20

Morning, tis me Mouseface.

Double - thanks for the post last night

HAPPY 8th ANNIVERSARY!! I know you were posting on the thread that upset me so much last night so know you have been there too, as have many others

Bitter - monkey's may be easier to handle than DS? Don't worry, all wil be fine and he'll have a wonderful day at the Zoo and crash out as soon as he gets back.

SAF - your yo-yoing does sound like water retention....

Jet - sorry you are havig nursery issues. Hope you can manage the extra so mini can go?

Now for my low self-esteem post, please choose to ignore if you are happy today.....

Night from hell again here. DS was unsettled but due to me reading and getting involved in that awful thread, I just couldn't sleep.

I kept getting up and checking the doors were locked, windows shut, hearing things and lay awake shaking, waiting to be beaten by the ex who'd tracked me down........

It brought back so many terrible memories. It's been 6.5 years since I left. It is still so very fresh in my mind.

I'm going back to bed when DS goes for a nap.

MrMouse is brilliant and not annoyed that I kept him awake too. I just couldn't settle.

Sorry to be all morbid and sad today.

Can one of you who may have read this kick my arse and tell me how lucky I am to have all I have now please?

Am I mid cycle yet?? I feel very hormonal.
