My baby just rolled off our bed while my back was turned for a second (he's never rolled that far before). He cried for a few minutes but seems ok now. I feel so terrible and don't know what to do. Should I take him to A&E, just in case?

FWIW Littlestar, i'm sure this wont be the last scare you get. My DD fell off of our sofa straight onto our Solid Wood flooring at about 7 months. She also on Friday fell off the sofa, (has a think about bouncing since she had a bouncy caslt efor her Bday) her dad was sitting right next to her and still didnt catch her it time.
It happens and tbh if it doesn't then i would either say you are lying or extremely lucky.

Glad everything is OK

Blimey - that was a quick service by your local casualty. I had envisaged you being there until tea time at least!!!

I was at A&E yesterday with DD (No she didn't fall off the bed, sofa or down the stairs) and we were in and out door ro door within 2 hours, which is brilliant by our local hospital standards.

What has shocked me more is how ur shaming mums as a parent yourself you will know how hard it is to do 100 things at once I put my child on the bed and grabbed a nappy literally turned my back to the drawers and she fell from about a foot and I was scared and if it’s that easy for one small baby to roll over it’s very much likely for a large majority of babies to roll off beds that’s like saying have many toddlers graze their knees sometimes the rudeness and shame isn’t needed when a mother is seeking advice for and incident that involves their child just because u feel ur rude opinion is needed
