This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Oooohwooooooo at maxi dress! I think mine is a bit too 'look at me' for work. I have a pink dress from White Stuff on today, and some sily pink wedge shoes.

Haha at Lizzy's thong and tassles. I wasn't cooknig in special underwear, it was just too warm in our stupid greenhouse of a flat to keep all my clothes on.

What is your job DEM? And where? (sorry if you've said already)

Mittz · 23/06/2010 08:58

Hello

I have one computer functioning now, so my MN quarantine was short lived (thank fook!).

Not a lot to tell.

Lovely lovely Fluffy leant me her ear yesterday. thank you so much Fluffy, xx.

Thanks Mouse for your message xx

Hi to all.

Glad you had a fab day yesterday BoF, it sounds divine. My 100 day plan is going well, a small change everyday, but as I am on I am not weighing myself yet.

Heaps to do (cabbage to eat ), loves ya all xx

hellsbelles · 23/06/2010 09:02

morning. 5am wake up and then we managed to get back to sleep only to oversleep (which never ever happens normally!). Mass panic and slightly grubby as no time for showers

I have to take DD to the drs today - oh joy.

DEM - great news that the interview went well. Fingers crossed for next week.

SAF - well done! Shall we support each other on NOT just giving up now we've lost quite a lot. I think the key to this thing is doing that really boring LONG...3rd stage (I'm still on stage 2). It would be such a pain to put it all back on again.

Good luck mouse!

Bella - very healthy breakfast...you are good...and shiney enjoy the shower.

Better go pack a bag of distractions for DD at the drs. Otherwise she'll howl the whole time.

Good MOrning
Have DS2 with me all day as PILs are on holiday, how extremely selfish of them to be enjoying their retirement and not looking after my son

Have weighed and the scales haven't moved BUT have on a pair of white cotton cropped trousers that 3 weeks ago I couln't get over my thighs, 2 weeks ago could get on but nt do up and 1 week ago could get on but not walk in them and had an overspill from hell at the top. Today they are comfy and look good (for me), so something is happening.

DEM, I missed that you had an interview, I could have sent you the interview info, glad that Mousey was there for you. Sounds like it went well.

Hey Mittz!

Right, we are off holiday shopping in a wee while so have to get sorted.

Lovely day today again

Goooood Morning!

Another fabulous day here and I am not working - Yay!

Really need to blitz the shit pit, but will have to fit some time in the garden - it would be rude not to.

Double, that poem is really powerful.

DEM well done on the interview.

Saf/hells - looks like Dukan is working really well for you.

Lizzy well done on the ever shrinking you.

@ Mittz cooking in her underwear.

DD is being really sweet today, all kissy and cuddly. And she now says around 8 words.

She really makes me laugh as she has such a deep voice.

And I have been nice Mummy today as I am usually so strict about DS's lunch box contents.

He is really excited about the football, so I made him a little footballer gingerbread man and snuck it in to his lunch when he wasn't looking.

I live life on the edge, me.

DidEinsteinsMum · 23/06/2010 09:30

I hate school sending written homework for ds. If he is too excited (dsis/dauntie was babysitting last night - cue excited ds) he cant do it. Then there is a must get this done in the morning/before school battle. they only give them on day/night to do it. Reading and spellings no problem. written homework = very cross grumpy mummy due to ds who hates to cooperate in the morning.

I am tired so not planning a busy day. plan of action today is:
Buxton to runs some errands in pretty scenery rather then normal town drudgery
strong strong words with twaxty ex.

but the absolute best bit about today. I have volunteer to sort the lego out. Said volunteer is very excited. I am very please to not have to do it.

I am in a very grumpy mood today. I am tired. therefore i am eating chocolate and on strike.

Trills/lizzy - trying not to discuss the interview too much on if i talk about it it wont happen kinda way. issue is if ex is going to be so crappy i wont be able to take it even though it was his idea in the first place.
Catch you later folks.

Mouseface · 23/06/2010 09:31

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 09:37

Ah, I know what I meant Mousie.

Saf, I have no idea how easy it is to make. I think it's pretty simple, but have to admit this one was made out of some dough that my Mum had left over. All I did was get it out of the freezer, defrost , bake and ice, so yes from that perspective, very simple!

DidEinsteinsMum · 23/06/2010 09:38

Hope today goes ok for you and not too much waiting about.

SAF - its not too bad. used to make gingerbread men who did the splits and gingerbread ducks etc. but ds dont like ginger. thinking might adapt recipie to cinanmom. which he loves. I have a good recipie somewhere but not sure if i have gotten around to packing the cooking books so it might be best to as bitter.

right going to enjoy buxton so will catch up later perhaps.

Though that one says it doesn't freeze, perhaps it means the baked biscuits don't freeze?

I always freeze cookie dough, never had any problems.

I should do more baking with Jack too saf, he loves it. Problem is neither DH or I like sweet things, so the DC end up polishing off the lot!

He usually acts as my 'commis chef' when I'm doing dinner instead.

Saf, on the very rare occasions I do something messy with Jack, I get a cheapo plastic table cloth (They sometimes do them in the pound shop).

Then when you are finished just bundle it up with the mess still in it and throw the whole thing out.
