This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Here is our mascot

Shall I take a photo Alice?

Or I could time travel to a water fall somewhere in paradise where it is miraculously warm enough to skinny dip but cool enough to eat my flake in a tantalising and provocative manner .

Shiney, MrCock has gone for a lie down too, as he's also old and tired. But he got up with DS this morning so I could have a little lie in after spending entire night with DS either screaming in his cot or crawling all over me in bed. I think we had some sleep in between about 2 and 5am?

I must say, it was a lot easier when DS wasn't mobile. Remind me why I was concerned when he wasn't crawling at 9 months?

And yesterday's fever, grumpiness, and all night screaming session was explained this morning when we found two more teeth have come through, this time from the top. He's much happier and back to destroying the lounge.

BELLAvita · 26/06/2010 18:47

Hello lovely Yank.

Poor little DS

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/06/2010 18:50

I hate this heat!!!! I now remember why i was nocturnal in my youth or spent most of the day at the rink. ds is calmed and sleep meds starting to kick in. I think it will be an early night in this house as i suspect it will be an early start. And quite frankly i am knackered. I am almost tempted to say goodnight now...

...almost.

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/06/2010 18:52

remembers manners and waves at everyone.

yank - that is shit. hope you get a good night tonight
mitts - glad you had a nice day
shiney - nice to see you

Mittz · 26/06/2010 18:54

It really mithers them doesn't it Yank? Poor guys.. hello though

Must confess the heat doesn't bother me like it used to. But sympathies to those that it does because I remember well the misery it causes..

Mittz · 26/06/2010 18:56

My back is killing me and the only painkillers I have contain caffeine.. This is where I can't relax because sitting in one position is agony.

YanknCock · 26/06/2010 18:56

DEM, I know what you mean, I melt when it goes above about 20 degrees.

No sympathy for DS please, he is fine now and bashing everything in sight (including me) with a toy hammer.

And here he comes for the laptop cord

YanknCock · 26/06/2010 19:00

Mittz, what's up with your back? Sending you virtual co-codamol if that will help....

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/06/2010 19:04

would an ice pack numb it mittz?

Or a soak in the bath?

Mittz · 26/06/2010 19:08

I broke it years ago Yank (along with my neck) and it comes back to haunt me, Fairly low level and not disibilitating but enough to make relaxing difficult.

I managed to get some Ibuprofen from next door so just waiting for it to kick in.

DEM. If I have a bath I will be good for nothing and I really want to paint. Ice is a good idea and I could dig my tens machine out.

Do you have a drummer in the making Yank ?

Mittz · 26/06/2010 19:10

What really helps is a big tight squeezy hug. It feels knotted and that kind of hug is wonderful..shall I accost random strangers to give me a back fixing hug?

oh Mittz, ouch!! Hope the ibuprofen kicks in soon.

Yes, DS is a drummer in the making...or perhaps a demolition man. At least he is quietly feeding now and nearly asleep, will be trying for an early bedtime tonight (normally goes between 8-8:30).

Wish MrCock would wake up, I want to watch Dr Who. His hayfever went nuts today so with that and the lack of sleep he is barely functioning.

Mouseface · 26/06/2010 19:28

Hi.

Am only here for a while as am having a sofa and DVD night with MrMouse.

SAF - have fb'd you.

Mittz - flake are giving away Benifit lippy's so I bought 4 earlier. All for DD as i'm on a chocolate ban! Bollocks!! They are in the fridge whispering....."mouse, mouseface, oh mouse, you should eat me mouse, I'm yummy and not at all fattening....." to me!!!

Bitter - hope work is ok.

Portia - did you hear that we have a thief amongst us?? Fook it, if they made the mistake then you were meant to have them for free my lovely!!!

Alice - yay, you got a 'fuckity' in your rant!!!!

BIG NEWS......... DS crawled!!! He's 6 months behind where he 'should' be according to the specialists and tonight, for the very first time, he actually crawled, about 6 steps( ??) to his toys!!

Uber proud mummy moment.

hey bella, how goes it? BTW you text made me smile whilst i was in the middle of disco hell yesterday ) I am so very much looking forward to when ds can do the disco bit himself. the entertainer they got in to do disco was good and adapted routine for the sweltering heat conditions regularly sending kids for a drink.

Alicetheinvisible · 26/06/2010 19:45

Yay for babymouse!

DD just watching cbeebies (again) then i think i will chuck her into a cool bath. Didn't do much at the horses, DD fell over and cut her knee almost immediately we got there, so was a case of get horses in and feed whilst being whinged at. DD has now had a half dose of calpol.

Baby has hiccups

Mouseface · 26/06/2010 19:45

Nope, you eat 752 flakes a flake and just enter the code inside the wrapper here they are giving away 1 million Benefit lippy's and you can choose which one you want!!!

Thanks all, I'm uber proud simply because we never even thought he'd make it this far!!

May have to buy some fizz tomorrow!!!

Alicetheinvisible · 26/06/2010 19:47

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/06/2010 19:49
