This is our gazillionth thread.

We are not quite as evil as some make out.

We try to lose weight, eat healthily, stuff like that.

Here is our mascot

I'm back Trills.

Okay, FitFlops IMO are fab. I noticed a difference in my bottom and legs after about two weeks of walking around in them. My bum felt more pert and my legs ached less. They are better for your posture than normal flat flip flops or shoes as help to correct the way that you carry yourself.

Get some! You can't get them cheap, I've tried but I use Running Bare here and get free delivery. They're doing a free nails inc promo at present too worth £10.50 - the code is FFG2010.

What size shoe do you take?

jetcat · 25/06/2010 12:12

trills - i was mrs doubtfire Theme was scottish that year!

thanks mouse - yes, she is growing up into a right moody mare I am hoping the pill will help with her moods - as my word she can be stroppy. I, of course, never was Hope you ok now mouse, am whispering for you

Exciting news on the pa front. New payroll people are bring round a list of completed application forms and cvs from people they have on their books. I may not have to advertise - thank god!

jetcat · 25/06/2010 12:14

i have heard good things about fit flops as well - will give it a bit more thought if they are really going to work

Mouseface · 25/06/2010 12:21

Jet - thank you. I found the pill made me worse re the mood swings. In fact, all hormone treatments did.

It's almost like the additional hormones increased my TisMeTheMoodiestMareInTheVillage days.

So I steer well clear these days!! MrMouse and I use funbags instead. Sorry, TMI!

Have they said which pill they're putting her on? Or will you go through them on the day?

Good luck re PA too!

Alicetheinvisible · 25/06/2010 12:24

So hot here now. Will have to face up to the fact i am now heavily pregnant and waddling round town in this heat with a feral wilful toddler is going to make me either cry or hurt someone.

On the plus side though, i have got friend's ds birthday present and card, and a lovely real wool blanket for my friend for her babyshower. Sweating like a pig though and have huge swollen feet - how attractive

Jet - sounds like you are having a good day

Mouse - poor Ds

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 12:26

Hello lovelies.

I would love some fit flops but they are ££.

Jet, Mrs Doubtfire was inspired! - I can't remember the last fancy dress I went to, probably as a student.

Glad things at work are going well.

Today I have had a yoghurt with oatbran for breakfast and just had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs for lunch.

No idea about dinner, DH is working late so I may just snack later when DC are in bed.

I will be thin, I'm determined!

Mouseface · 25/06/2010 12:28

Oh Alice. Please take it easy!

When you get home, cold water in your washing up bowl and soak those feet!!!!!!

Do you have any pressure socks??? I'm sure I had to wear them at the end of being a big fat hefferlump pregant with DS.

Alicetheinvisible · 25/06/2010 12:33

I am currently sat on the sofa with my feet up, with a glass of crushed ice and water and DD grizzling at me. She needs to go to bed, but not sure she will because the plumber is here all day. Have sent DH an email begging him to hurry up and come home for lunch.

Bitter - well done you! You sound really motivated too which helps. And yes, you will be thinner.

I'm fed up with doing the Lord (oo-er) so am think that I'm going to reduce my carbs - stop eating as much bread - I don't eat pasta or rice so that's the only thing I can reduce and also keep my cheese consupmtion down.....

I had a large handful of grapes for breakfast, yum! And two pints of water so far.

Lunch wil be dust

Dinner is homemade pizza.

Alice - DS is kicking the shit out of his cot refusing to settle and the cleaner is due at 2. Bugger it.

Promise me that you'll rest as much as you can in this heat!!!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 12:57

Alice, take it easy.

Saf - is it a veg day? I really want a granny smith, of all things

DD is sleeping through a ton of noise - she must get that from her mother!

Mouse, not thinner. Thin.

I want to be one of those people who get's asked 'where do you put it all?, there's not a pick on you!'

I think I may resort to barbecuing a cow. I 1 and a half days of Dukan, DH has demolished:
most of the smoked salmon,
a whole packet of crabsticks,
a packet of chicken fillets,
a packet of mussels,
2 packets of ham and
half the herring.

Thank goodness I froze everything I need for actual meals.

And he has finished off all the eggs we got from FIL. He is going to bankrupt me!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 12:57

Oh and Mousie, I hope that is organic, free range dust.

Hello ,

Feeling a little better and have had something sweet. Feel very lethargic and floppy now.

I have to go to the bank...

I have FitFlops for working in Trills and think they definitely have benefits and not as odd looking as some people claim.

Sorry Junior is suffering Jet, it is enough coming to terms with periods without them giving you a hard time at that age.. at her being on the pill, just never considered Docs using it for a youngster.

Thinking of you Mouse (( )) xx

Sounds like one of my visits anywhere Bitter..my children were born Feral. I look at people with well behaved DC's and wonder how they manage to achieve it.

I have some detox stuff from H and B. Teas and an Aloe Vera thing and a supplement with Calcium and Magnesium for bloating as I am feel eeurgh at the moment.

Must go to town, but I really don't want to. Bad headaches leave me with a 'hungover' feeling and everything feels 'rushy' and spaced out. This should be fun then

Thanks for all the sympathy xx

Mittz · 25/06/2010 13:09

(suck the fly up the hoover Bitter )

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/06/2010 13:10

Saf, I think I'm going to stick to the 5 days on, 5 days off. I'm hoping it shouldn't take more than a few weeks to get down to my goal weight

Spray the fly with whatever you have to hand - hairspray, deodorant - I find kitchen cleaner finishes them off pretty quick.

Right, DD is awake and I have two loads of laundry to dry. Catch up later.

wastingaway · 25/06/2010 13:11

Afternoon!

Well done Bitter!

Well done Junior!

Rest up Mittz, and you too Alice!

Saf, that's a classic! Bless him.

Fitflops look good, specially with free nail varnish.

Had a fun time being socially awkward at Children's Centre, but it was safety day so I got lots of leaflets and free sunhats etc.
Then neighbour gave us a free swing set.

Laughing Cow is nice, thought I'd try it as you's have mentioned it.

Mouseface · 25/06/2010 13:24

SAF - I have just had a blue bottle in here the size of a 747. Stupid as fook aren't they? It just kept smacking into the wide open window.

I've just pointed the fly spray at it and it finally went out.

Wasting - I heart laughing cow light triangles. Yay for the free stuff too.

Mittz - go easy! Take your time in the heat and drink loads of water!

I'm on my 4th pint of iced ice baby water!

Wholemeal pitta for lunch - rank as it was a bit stale - with ham and lettuce which is lower fat than organic dust!!

DS has only just gone to blardy sleep so have had to push cleaner back to 2.30. I so need her to help me out today.

Time for more drugage..............

Ooooo and some snakc-a-jacks. YUM!!!

DH home, child fed, me fed, got the shakes though so have eaten a stupid amount to try to stop that. Didn't work.

Mouse - send your cleaner over here please?

Mittz - i used to get like that after a migraine. Used to find cereal bars were quite good.

Think i am going to shut DD and i in our bedroom this afternoon and hope we can both have a nap.

I am out this evening with some mums at a turkish restaurant, hope i don't still feel rubbish.

Mouseface · 25/06/2010 13:39

Double - how on earth can that be? Have you fallen and banged your head deary?

Moi? More lovely than you.

I think not.

How is the CF behaving? Still being told to fuck the fuckity off you fuckity fucker?

Ah, that feels better.

Once a day I try to say that marvellous line!!

trilliAnasTra · 25/06/2010 13:39

Size 7 or 8 feet here, depending. You must now all tell me what colour/style of fit flops you have. And I will consider if £50 is a ridiculous amount to spend.

Alice you will only be heavily pregnant for a bit more, and then you'll have a baby. Relax and stay on the sofa while you can.

OP posts:
Mouseface · 25/06/2010 13:44

Alice - you need to give your food time to kick in. Takes a good 20 mins for your blood sugar levels to reach their optimum level and then even out.

If the shaking doesn't stop you need to get it checked out.

Any other new symptoms?

And yes, get thee to bed with DD. I used to love doing that when DD was little. Just snuggling up on the bed, telling her made up stories and closing our eyes til we fell asleep.

My cleaner is fab. I can't do some of the housework - mopping, hoovering etc so she does it. Thank God for disability living allowance.

Now go REST!!!!

Alicetheinvisible · 25/06/2010 13:50

Well for breakfast i had Jordans country crisp cereal, half a banana and my spatone and orange juice. Lunch was:

1 x piece brown toast with jam
1/2 packet of chocolate bourbons
1x cup of tea
1 x strawberry cream quality street
1x egg mayo sandwich (2pieces of bread and 2 eggs)

Now eating an apple

My feet and hands have started swelling, but i think it is due to the heat.
