Evening

Have been enjoying the sunshine and trying to finalise stuff for DH's birthday BBQ on Sat. All coming together but i am rather frazzled

Eating and exercise going ok, other than small slip up at the toddler group planning meeting in the pub last night . Ho hum, onward and downward...

Not caught up but i think Mouse was at the hozzie today? Hope all went ok and you got some answers/courses of action

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 20:44

I really hate working full time. Nothing gets done around the house and I miss DS like crazy. I seriously considered phoning in sick this morning in a wild moment because I just wanted to stay home with him. He really ought to stop being so cute.

DH is back tomorrow night thank goodness. Think I will go to bed now, sod everything, I'm tired.

CrispyTheCrisp · 23/06/2010 20:53

LOL Bitter/Double

Get some sleep Yank - only 2 more sleeps and it's Friday

Hello, need help from an English parent (not patient) - when do schools break up? Are all state schools the same? Trying to plan summer holidays and it'll be so much nicer if my sprog is the only one in the campsite!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 21:08

Yank - I hate working part-time, so goodness only knows how you get things done.

I sometimes consider having another baby just so I don't have to go back to work properly for a few more years

Double, surely there's still hope?

MrsFeathersword · 23/06/2010 21:08

ID I'm so sorry to hear that. Didn't realise.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 21:09

Hang on iggi I'll check.

Evening! I've been having a lovely day. Lie-in, Lush bath, picnic and KFC.
Only bad thing was steaming poo on vegpatch this morning, but cat repellent has been reapplied.

Crispy, it is harder work the closer you get to goal, (I remember, a very long time ago, when I was successful...) you are doing so well, the occasional treat won't hurt.

Yank, one of the best things about being a grown-up is being able to decide what time you go to bed, which can be as early as you like as well as late as you like.

Instructions, oh no! I hate over-plucking my eyebrows!

Mittz, your boy sounds awesome! In a Dennis the Menace sort of way. Love it. He reminds me of a lad we know, just the sweetest thing, even when he's in trouble.

Alice, your outfit sounds lovely, I'm sure you looked radiantly pregnant, and he loved how blooming you looked when photographed.

DEM, of jam-making skillz. Glad interview went well.

Hells, sorry about all the bruises and shoes, but it makes for a good story.

Waves to everyone else!

Mouseface · 23/06/2010 21:19

Evening, tis me Mouseface.

Thank you those who sent well wishes for our nightmare of a day hospital trip today. As per the M6 was awful! Why can nobdy drive when they get to the M6? Does the ability to use their brain just leave some people??

Anywa, we were a whole fucking hour late going in to see the first Consultant as the stupid cow who checked us in receptionist failed to tell the cleft clinic that we had arrived so I had a screaming hungry DS, pissed off MrMouse and sulking DD to deal with. Joy.

Anyway, all is fine, more people have been added to his army of carers and on we go.

Double - so sorry about you woof. Thank God you're not having a colonoscopy - OUCH!! My sedation wore off...... and at your 'no attention sp.....' Well done on the loss too!

Bitter - lots at on and on and on and on, DD was like that too, until I beat it out of her asked her to stop and explained why.

Hope everyone who watched it enjoyed the football.........

And you are all fine and dandy on this marvellous evening.

Do you want to hear a silly chant I made up in the shower this evening????

Oh, go on then Mouse, twist my arm...

hellsbelles · 23/06/2010 21:29

for double.

o.k...I admit...DS was wearing crocs . He is such a numpty. Apparently mucking about and doing some show off football kicks and the shoe flew off into the vast hedges surrounding the playground. Everyone looked for 10 mins with no success!

Alas the school secretary forgot to call me to warn me to bring a spare pair for the journey home! We walked a bit but it's a 30 min walk so I had to get a taxi in the end! He has no other sandals so he's going to be boiling t/m in his socks and trainers!

I'm going to stay off the thread tonight. I am so flipping stressed about anything & everything it's ridiculous and completely disproportionate. I'm annoying myself and will annoy you if I continue to post.

See you all t/m.

hellsbelles · 23/06/2010 21:31

x-post Mouse - so sorry. Glad it went well (apart from stupid receptionist.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 21:32

See you tomorrow hells.

Saf - DH tells me it was one nothing to us.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 23/06/2010 21:35

I mean we got one point and they got none. Can you tell I don't follow football?

Mouseface · 23/06/2010 21:36

Okay - here goes.....

Tis football season as such so.......

"If you go down to the pub today, you'd better go armed with pies. If you down to the pub today be sure to believe your eyes. For every bloke that ever there was, is drinking there together because today's the day that Englad won their first game!"

I've posted it in chat and asked for more but no bites so far

And put a disclaimer that I want no bloody fun police telling me it's sexist etc.... it's just for fun!!

I swear I'm sober, have only just poured my first drink.

What do you think??
