I had a peek at it, drop, but it did my head in. I can't keep up! I do find it odd though that the people who start the threads disappear very early and let the argument go on without them, which often leads me to suspect that the person who started it may often well be one of the people who later gets most involved in the argument. If that makes sense?

I am back! I thought i had better rejoin as i merrily puffed my way through my two week holiday! And the day after i got back as the evil washing got the better of me, but i have gone two and half days without a smoke! Yippee! I guess i kind of fooled myself in to thinking i could be a social smoker. Never mind - it's good to see some familiar names, i abandoned you for the weightwatchers thread - that went out of the winow on holiday too!

My dad had many many offspring, the first was adopted out,
the second was me,
the 3rd was my little sister - different mum,
the 4th was one he named the same as me
the 5th was apparently his but looks the spit of his best mate.

The only one I know is my little sister, because our mums are best friends, they met because our dad was a totally arse and neither of our mums wanted him but couldnt get rid of him, he was a wifebeating evil twat...
anyway!!!!!!...We know that there are more of us(IFYWIM) but neither of us are interested in finding anymore of the crew. We saw the 5th sister at his funeral and didnt think she was his, at all. Maybe if she had looked like us it would have spurred on and interest, but we look like little and large twins, she looked like our dads best mate and all of his kids.
And the others?
Dont know why, but we just dont give them a thought. If one of them knocked on the door I wouldnt turn them away, but theres not heartfelt yearning to know.
Maybe your half sister is like this too? And its nothing against our other half sisters. Do you know where im coming from at all? I hope you do!

I have mentioned her on this thread in the past as its one of the main factors why I stopped smoking-brought it into sharp reality-I felt very selfish for have doing so for so long-especially during the first few years of my kids lives!
