fg, you addict! What's so good about the lozenges then? Do they taste nice? Give you a buzz?

Hullo drop! How are those boys? Dd's still got a gummy lumpy eye, gonna take her back to the GP this afternoon.

cc, shall we start a lottery syndicate?

dropinthe · 30/08/2005 16:42

Lozzies=treat! That was my view-I could only stomach the non-minty ones but I loved them-glad I stopped though-a bit that you could get them on e-bay!I should have known the amount I buy off there!

Yeah...we could all put in 10p a week...or something, 20p, pick a number each and see how it goes. Thats a great idea actually...OR one of us buys the ticket on a different week...which would obviously be easieer
anyone up for it?

dropinthe · 30/08/2005 18:37

Yup!

mummylonglegs · 30/08/2005 23:04

I do too

charliecat · 30/08/2005 23:04

dID you get ot the docs?

mummylonglegs · 30/08/2005 23:08

I seconded AC.

Nope, no appointments left, even emergencies. So our shite dr. phoned me (I HATE him, Dr. Baxter, young, stuck-up, more concerned with the crease in his trousers than his patients, has always given us useless advice and seems to see kids as a kind of acne that parents have to deal with) and said he'd write a prescription for antibiotics even though he hasn't seen dd since her eye infection has spread to her cheek. Am gonna try again tomorrow.

charliecat · 30/08/2005 23:12

GAWD cant you change him? My doctor when I was a young filly parent, 19, used to treat me and dd like dirt, I had to take my bloody mother with me so he would take me seriously and im not the sort to go to the docs unless there REALLY IS a problem.
For example, dd hasnt moved for 24 hours, laying on sofa too weak to do anything, she was 12 months old, I thought she was going to die.
Doctor tells me theres nothign wrong with her...i scrolled up her notes on the computer when we were left alone in the nurses room.
Her notes said she had tonsillitus

Anyway...he is now really nice and really calm, really attentive...he stopped smoking. Thats the change. Hes no longer dying to get us out of the room for a fag.
It was a noticable change. Hes lovely now.

mummylonglegs · 30/08/2005 23:20

I can't imagine mine smoking. He's soooo squeeky clean.

We've actually got 4 dr.'s at the practice but it's impossible to get appointments with the others, there's a 2 week wait and more, and Baxter always does the emergency clinic.

charliecat · 30/08/2005 23:22

Our doctors has 5 doctors, one woman, but they deny they have a female doctor on the phone Oh no, its Mr Mr Mr or MR...and what about the woman downstairs called Mrs ...
I have no idea who your talking about.EH????????
Shes a fab doctor, but very sought after it seems!
