This is our 50000 (or summat like that) thread.

Some of us do wW, some do the Lord Ford and there may even be a little bit of South Beach in here too!

If you have loads or a teeny tiny bit of weight to lose or even if you just want to eat healthy then this could be the thread for you.

DIB - I will have a large glass of your favourite tipple waiting for you on the dot of 7pm

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 04/06/2010 09:27

Morning.

DS has spend the morning making me little cards saying 'To Mummy I luv you very much'...creep!

He is such an extreme child, it's like all the dials on his emotions are turned up to 11. Better make the most of his good mood while it lasts I suppose.

Meeting my friend in a bit then we are going to take the kids out.

Another glorious summer day.

Mittz · 04/06/2010 09:32

Morning... I have just got up! .

Will have a bucket of tea and return shortly.

Luvs ya all xx

NormaSknockers · 04/06/2010 09:43

NormaSknockers · 04/06/2010 09:44

It is at this point I would usually go & catch up but I think it would take me all day - everyone ok? Have I missed anything big/exciting/worth knowing?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 04/06/2010 09:51

Morning Norma.

Mittz, hope you are enjoying your tea, very at you late rising, i was awake at 5.30

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 04/06/2010 10:01

Any chance of a cuppa Norma?

Fanny, I thought of you yesterday, I was watching three in a bed and one of the B&Bs had gorgeous views.

Not that I know if you have gorgeous views, but in my fantasy where you have adopted me you do!

NormaSknockers · 04/06/2010 10:02

Go on then Bitter I'll bung the kettle on!

Hello lovelies

Friend coming over sometime today, but luckily is very delayed so i am resting after having a bad night and a good scrub gentle wipe down of the kitchen

My cat has a swollen leg and is a bit lame, but no heat in it and is still managing to get about so luckily no break or infection, just bruised. It seems to have forgotten about yesterday luckily (it's not very bright) I am not really a cat person but ours is cool, it is actually quite like a dog, follows you about and comes racing to greet you when you come in the front door.

erm....can't remember what i was going to say, sure it was witty, intelligent and important......

Mittz · 04/06/2010 10:29

Hello... poor cat Alice. We used to have a cat that slept between me and H when we were together and put it's head on the pillow!
Yours sounds ace. I am very tempted by a pet. I couldn't have a cat because of DD's asthma and the ironing service.. they do like to curl up in inappropriate places, but a dog seems like a bigger commitment.

Bitter.. DS is like that, no middle ground. It is tiring..

How are you Norma?

Counselling went well yesterday, it was one of those sessions where I felt positive progress was being made.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 04/06/2010 10:32

Glad it went ok mitts, you sound positive. If you want a loving pet without the commitment of a dog, get a rat! I will be getting DS a couple when he is old enough to take responsibility for a pet.

Alice, take it easy - scrubbing kitchens is not taking it easy!

bellavita · 04/06/2010 10:36

Hello

Hope your puddy cat is ok Alice.

Norma - glad to see you back, how are you feeling?

Hello Mittz

DS1 has just got out of his pit! I have told him in no uncertain terms there will be no shillyshallying today and he has to get on with homework, tidying etc. Good progress was made yesterday though.

I am sat out in the garden with a nice cup of coffee!

I am taking it easy now

Mittz - always makes me smile when you come on here all cheery Our cat does have to be shut out of our room at night because we have cardboard boxes full of books under our bed that it likes to scratch. Sleeps in a little fake fur bed outside our door though

Must get up and wipe DD's snotty nose.......

Hi Bella

Mittz · 04/06/2010 10:42

I know rats can be lovely, DSS1 had them. I kind of like the idea of a 'companion' pet. I talk to the fish but they just all agree with each other and eat my Snails.

Tough talking sounds good Bella. DC's need it re their rooms.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 04/06/2010 10:42

Bella - @ shillyshallying!

Right, I have to jump in the shower, make a picnic and go and meet my friend. Catch you all later!

bellavita · 04/06/2010 10:43

Have you got your new make-up on today Alice?

OP posts:
TrillianAstra · 04/06/2010 10:45

Woo woo for Lizzy's jeans. I remember once trying on a pair of skinny jeans that were in my size, and that I thought I would be able to do up the waist on, only to not be able to get the thigh bit over my calves, so no chance to test the waist.

Your cat sounds lovely Alice.

bellavita · 04/06/2010 10:49

Hello Trills

Have you got your outfit sorted for next Sat?

I could never ever wear skinny skinny jeans - wouldn't even get my ankle through the leg bit!

bellavita · 04/06/2010 10:51

Friends and picnic sound good Bitter!

TrillianAstra · 04/06/2010 10:52

bellavita · 04/06/2010 10:56

Is it a secret or can you tell me what the colours are like? Yes, flat shoes please!

I said to Shiney last night that when you txt us after dumping your bags at the hotel, we will have to go for a cheeky little drink of something sparkly!
