DH is off work today. I am spending the day making edookashunal games for the girls. I am such a saddo!

I ate very sensibly yesterday, and then DH went out for a drink so I had to have a treat for myself - two almond slices

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/05/2010 08:49

Mitts and Lizzy - how are the illing children today?

NormaSknockers · 18/05/2010 08:51

Is the sat fat higher though in them Alice?

Hello MrsWobble, don't feel to bad about the almond slices just go for a walk to burn them off....or find some other activity that gets your heart pumping & out of breath IYKWIM

MitsubishiWarrioress · 18/05/2010 08:53

Oh god that sounds like such a good idea Norma. I'd like to get hot, sweaty, breathless and my heart pumping wildly..

Good job it's Kboxing night!

NormaSknockers · 18/05/2010 08:54

Not what I had in mind but hey I'll go with that Mitts

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/05/2010 08:56

Oh in that case I may have burnt them off last night then, Alice!

Alicetheinvisible · 18/05/2010 08:58

Don't know Norma, just know that special K advertise their snacks as being only 90cals, but was eating a cocopops bar the other day and looked at the cals and were only 84.

bellavita · 18/05/2010 09:01

I thought I had already said in my post about your dd Mitts and I couldn't see it... >

I am good thanks Mitts.

It is lovely and warm here - have done loads already this morning.

bellavita · 18/05/2010 09:07

Norma - have massaged you with the info you wanted to know!

hellsbelles · 18/05/2010 09:09

morning my lovelies!

Glad the illing dc's are on the mend...my DD is still hot but other than that seems very chirpy so it's calpol and no panic (for now).

Yank - good luck with the meeting...it is totally totally normal for DCs to get poorly a lot when they first start nursery. There is NOTHING that you can do and the bloody manager should know that (I'm sure he will once you've set him straight ...and I'm so sorry about ex - that must be really really hard.

Lizzy - is AF due? Sounds like that surely?

Trills - have a wonderful break...

Alice - that is awful...poor you. As I'm not in work today I've sent DH off with the parcel to post you! Why do I have no faith in him getting it right?

Perhaps because the bugger snored all night so I have had about 2 hours sleep (as DD was up a lot as well).

Bella & Shiney - at stories...and Bitter at poo saga!

Fluff - just pretend you love the teacher and deal with her that way...I have to do that with DS's. Otherwise it all hurtles downhill.

Sazz please please stay - we miss you.

Off to settle DD...

NormaSknockers · 18/05/2010 09:09

Thank you lovely Bella

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 18/05/2010 09:12

Hi Hells

Lizzylou · 18/05/2010 09:24

Sorry to be such a moaning old cow, just feel disheartened and I am so not supertoned and AF not due for a week!

Have had a shower and feel a bit brighter, think I may have reached a point with the business as well. I am not sure it's going to work out. Long story but I do have other options to explore before I have to make any decisions.

Yank, I really hope today goes OK for you at work meeting and with exH. You have so much on your plate, makes my tantrum seem childish and self-absorbed

It is a beautiful day here, so will make sure DS2 and I get out in the garden today.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/05/2010 09:26

Fabulous day here as well, the sun is shining.

Not sure what to do with the day, I might take DD to the park.

Must shred.

NormaSknockers · 18/05/2010 09:26

You're not a moaning old cow, it's frustrating & dishearting when you step on the scales & don't get the results you've worked hard for!

DeFluffy · 18/05/2010 09:26

waves to all

have kept dd off, am waiting for them to ring me back re meeting. cacking myself.

Sorry you're not feeling well Alice, this thread is contagious!!

Yank - sorry but your story made me laugh exh and I started out vaguely nice but that soon crumpled to calling cunt. I know its probably feeling terrible now but it was justified at the time iyswim. Very good luck for your meeting later.

Trills you cheeky bugger yes i had a bloody kitten and a deep fat fryer!!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 18/05/2010 09:28

God yes, good luck yank for your meeting.

DF - how are you feeling this morning? Are you armed with a plan of action?

NormaSknockers · 18/05/2010 09:30

Good luck for meetings DeFluff & Yank, hope all goes well

hellsbelles · 18/05/2010 09:31

morning wobble

Lizzy - would there be any help in talking about business woes here? Perhaps we can be sounding boards?

wastingaway · 18/05/2010 09:35

Morning!

Good luck for meetings Yank and Fluff.

Go Trills, go! Go now!

Well done on your lie-in DIB!

Alice, poor you! See what your MW says, if she gets back to you.

Lizzy, what a bummer. You're doing so well, you really can't blame yourself.

NormaSknockers · 18/05/2010 09:36

Have a good day wasting

mummylin2495 · 18/05/2010 09:38

Umm, Hells. I don't know, it is becoming inceasingly apparent that my Business Partner, although lovely is not listening to me and making some very strange decisions. He is also IT illiterate and I end up doing all the admin etc, which is not the best use of my time. I just can't see where we're going with it, he is not far off retiring...
The signs are that the market is picking up but we have his laptop here as DH had to fix it and it is obvious that he is in some ways doing us more harm than good with some of his decisions/correspondence with clients.

I have told him/shown him so many times that I can't be bothered to do it anymore as I know he won't act upon my words.

I am wondering if perhaps that with 2 DS's and a DH with a busy job I may be better looking for employment, perhaps being self-employed isn't for me?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 18/05/2010 09:43

..

thanks mummylin xx
