have been back to hospital and seen XH. He is in a coma (medically induced) and a drain tube coming out of his head and a breathing tube too. had not seen him since in court for divorce over two years ago. last time we spoke in person i called him a cunt several times at the top of my voice. feeling terrible now. they will try to wake him tomorrow and find out if any permanent damage. poor xpils, they are so worried.

and my stupid boss wants me in a meeting tomorrow to talk about all my absences--5 days already and not even back a month. all due to sick kid bar 1.

TotalChaos · 17/05/2010 22:48

Fluff - teacher sounds very defensive, sounds like playground supervision is sorely lacking. don't take your DD to the meeting. my DS likes to play the victim - trip over and say it's my fault, or I take his arm firmly to stop him doing a runner in car park, and he'll say - you hurt me!

YanknCock · 17/05/2010 22:50

oh i'm tpying like a numpty because i'm pumping milk.

i bought hair dye today when i was picking up prescriptions...did not get a chance to use it due to today's developments but maybe tomorrow

TotalChaos · 17/05/2010 22:50

sorry yank, cross posted.

I don't know what to say about ex - v. distressing to see anyone you were close to so poorly. hope that when they lift the sedation etc, he's making an OK recovery from the op.

FiveGoMadInDorset · 17/05/2010 22:51

Yank I am so sorry I knew about your illing DS but didn't know about your ex. Tough times for you. Good luck tomorrow.

wastingaway · 17/05/2010 22:59

Oh Yank. TRy not to feel terrible, I'm sure he deserved it at the time, but you're there to support ILs now, which is very admirable.

Tell your boss straight. Baby with gungy eyes, nothing else you could do. End. What do they suggest you do? Clone yourself?!

wastingaway · 17/05/2010 23:00

Fluff, I don't know what to say really. Teacher sounds a plonker.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/05/2010 23:01

bet you have all gone to bed, an i am only on page 8. tomorrow is another day and all that.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/05/2010 23:13

Nope, still up DEM. How was the iceskating?

Yank, so sorry about your XH, but agree, you seem like such a nice person, you would never call someone that without good reason.

And in that vein, tell your boss to go fuck himself.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/05/2010 23:15

Yank, things happen that you have no influence over. something obviously happened to make you call him a cunt at the time, the fact that he is poorly doesnt stop him having been a cunt at the time. You are also allowed to be worried about him, as it is a terrible possition to have been in.

Fluff, cant help with the teacher situation, it is really tough. Will say that parent partnership in this area is really good. give them a ring as they can advise where you stand, how to approach and deal with the situation and will sometimes helps as an independant person to take notes of meetings. They have been very helpful to me in the past.

meeting with ds' doc was double level really. Basically nothing else that can do and doing everything can do. It will keep happening and the only way that we are going to get proper help is when he kicks off and walks out of school .

I hurt alot, cant take anthing else til midnight, but am knackered. hope the rest of you are sleeping soundly.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/05/2010 23:17

ice was shit. they are doing maintainance to part of it and its too soft and watery. nice chats though.

wastingaway · 17/05/2010 23:23

Chats are good DEM. Has your doctor written to the school?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/05/2010 23:28

Eeew at watery ice, (thinks back fondly)

Seriously DEM, you seem so happy when you post about the rink.

That's shit about DS wrt the school though.

Sending you virtual glitter, though I can't stomach pink, sorry.

DeFluffy · 17/05/2010 23:29

Yank - just before i go to bed, I'm so sorry. Will be thinking of you and fingers crossed for him.

And second the tell boss to f off, its always the same when children first go to nursery (if dc not in nursery ignore me ) they catch everything going, very embarassing when you've just gone back but nothing you can do.

DEM and all - thank you. GOt to go to bed before I drop dead.

For Shiney x

wastingaway · 17/05/2010 23:30

Gotta go to bed. See you's later.

DidEinsteinsMum · 17/05/2010 23:33

nope, he thinks he might cope better now he has had a blow out. Although he did recomend taking him out of school for a day it if got to much to allow him to calm, but to return him the next day. I suspect he would write a medical note if school gets arsey.

I can escape at the rink. although tonight it was serious and advice based. mostly. my butt was commented on . Just nice to forget reality, iykwim. Supposed to be training proper tomo, but not sue i can face it, especially not with shit ice.

must now turn computer off and sleep.

TrillianAstra · 17/05/2010 23:38

Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 17/05/2010 23:38

Night all.

Whoever is up first - put the kettle on.

YanknCock · 17/05/2010 23:41

Yes, he was indeed being a cunt at the time. He'd just ripped up the house sale papers and thrown them at me (after promising on the phone that he'd sign them). For my part I then knocked a bunch of pictures off the wall. That would be when he tried to shove me out the door of our house using my boxed wedding dress---during the shuffle I kicked him in the shin and repeatedly called him a cunt.

How do you love someone so much and then get to that kind of behaviour? It's so fucking embarrassing now. We were so smug when we separated 'oh yes this will be so amicable and we'll be friends and we really respect each other' blah blah blah di blah and then you find yourself screaming the c word in front of your former neighbours.

YanknCock · 17/05/2010 23:45

going to bed now, gotta meet boss lady at 9:30. Don't want to be late for what I'm sure will be a scintillating meeting.

'So why have you been gone so much?'

'The baby has been enrolled in a disease-ridden nursery'

'Right then'

DreamsInBinary · 17/05/2010 23:51

Yank, what a miserable time

My DC were both permanently ill when they started nursery, but it only lasts for a couple of months - honestly.

You are being so kind to your ex-in-laws. I hope exH is OK.

DreamsInBinary · 18/05/2010 00:08

We are due some good luck on this thread!
