Ha Ha @ Lizzy . Will he see out his bout of chickenpox and house arrest slive?

Vinny, any news from the docs/specialist?

Have just prepared a chopped salad with home grown leaves, tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, green beans, pappadew peppers, cucimber and beetroot. Will eat it after i have shredded. Level 2 on the agenda today

Have put on 3lbs this week so perhaps level 200 might be more useful

CrispyTheCrisp · 21/05/2010 12:39

or even alive

Mouseface · 21/05/2010 12:48

Afternoon shiney people.

What a glorious day!!!

I'm a wee bit fed up though, DS will not go to sleep and that's the only break I get in a day.... he's kicking his cot.

I gave in to the toast monster too today, PMS so needed a bit of stodge. Had it with low fat spread though.

Shall be having ham salad for lunch, low fat ham, not a shop bought, pre-packed salad and then fajitas tonight.

No green goo and no sour cream, all prepared at home from scratch so I know what's actually in it!!

I may treat DH and myself to a tiny glass of Pimms in the garden later......

Mmmmm, Pimms.

aww bless him

Crispy no news yet, i expect it will be a couple of weeks before i get an appointment with the special doc

wastingaway · 21/05/2010 13:18

Don't worry about it Bella, it's just some of that weight you lose in that first big loss week is from storing carbs, so you'll 'balance out' when you have some. Just wouldn't want you to think it's fat if it's not.

I should just shut up really.

Been for a walk. Worked out triceps pushing DS on the swing. Bought a garden fork so next phase of beg plot development can go ahead.

Lizzylou · 21/05/2010 13:25

OOh, Mouse I love Pimms, so does DH...
But no, am going to the gym tonight, will be good to get out of the house.

Wasting, I always used to like pushing the swings, for the very same reason, it must tone up the bingo wings

Crispy, hope Level 2 is going ok, your salad sounds lovely.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 13:28

Afternoon.

Saf, poor DS. That's sweet about the certificate though.

Vinny, hope you get the results soon.

Crispy - good luck with the shred, I've still not graduated to level 2

Wasting, what are you doing with the garden?

Mouse, nice to see you back.

Have been out shopping as I forgot to put some things on my online shop.

DD is now asleep so I think I may take my book out into the garden.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 21/05/2010 13:29

Lizzy, I think you get to have your fish breath crown back

Lizzylou · 21/05/2010 13:32

I do, Bitter, I have had tinned red salmon (how very retro, reminded me of my Nan) with prawns on top of rice cakes.

Fishtastic
Think of the Omega 3 oils, I should have skin of a baby

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 13:35

enjoy the sunshine and book bitter

Vinny - I have now worn myself out and am reclining in the manner of a fat Jane Austin heroine mopping my brow.

SAF - poor DS!! DD has hers on Weds and I'm dreading it. She has the loudest scream on the planet...and gets completely outraged.

Mouse - muchous sympathy on the nap striking DS. I almost started crying when I though DD was giving up hers. Hopefully he will relent and give you a little break?

I really should look at this shred thingy shouldn't I? I'm just worried it might be too high impact for my dodgy back . I haven't been able to go to Pilates as much because of my Nanny being off and my back is aching already...I'm such a crumbling old crone.

wastingaway · 21/05/2010 13:36

Bitter, my garden is a large expanse of lawn and I am starting a tiny vegplot. With the intention of expanding it as we go along. My seedlings have been ready to plant out for ages, but I couldn't dig when the sore throat was at it's worst, so I'm eager to press on now I've a little more energy.

I've never had Pimms, but it looks so yummy, with all that stuff in. I might get some.

traceybath · 21/05/2010 13:36

Hi All! Sorry haven't caught up yet but will have a read now.

Busy week here with DH away and DS1 behaving absolutely appalingly - teacher had words at pick up yesterday and I've got his parents evening tonight.

DS2 saw SALT on monday who said there's no problem and his speech is fine if a little slow which was a relief.

Oh and I've had to take the bloody MAP - I mean fgs how old am I!!!

Gorgeous weather and go on holiday in a week.

Right will catch up now.

wastingaway · 21/05/2010 13:41

Tracey, never too old for that.
Good news about SALT though.

Hells, can you do any Pilates at home?

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 13:46

Tracey great news on SALT....what is map?

Wasting...I'm going to have to work out some exercises I can do from home as I cannot do my back in now. It would be a flaming disaster (mostly for you lot as you would have to put up with my incessant moaning again )

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 13:46

err...just worked it out sorry for asking.

Lizzylou · 21/05/2010 13:55

Hells, I'd say that the Shred would not be good if you're back is a bit dodgy.

Tracey, you go girl and

Have just ordered two maxi skirts from La Redoute, a white one and a cobalt blue one.
I want to wear skirts but my legs are blue/white and I fancied floating around all ethereal for a change.

wastingaway · 21/05/2010 14:00

Lizzy, I'm going to have to copy you on those skirts! Fab.

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 14:01

and hark at you 'miss fashionista bang on trend with your maxi skirts'.

bellavita · 21/05/2010 14:03

Hello - just got in from work, have scarfed my lunch down, need to get changed and then have "things" to do...

Vinny, alas, my date on Sunday is cancelled >. BoF doesn't feel up to traipsing round the shops . Plus she hadn't realised it had to be a Sunday. I think it was me texting her and saying I would be there at 10.00am scared her off

traceybath · 21/05/2010 14:04

Lizzy - lovely bargaintastic maxi dresses here and here.

Both very much admired on S&B threads.

Lizzylou · 21/05/2010 14:04

Wasting here they are:
Bargain

Another bargain

I am a bit excited now, bet they'll get here and it goes cold!

hellsbelles · 21/05/2010 14:07

will you insist on standing like the lady in pic 2 lizzy

I really like them (number 1 especially)...can you report back on what they are like?

Tracey - I've ordered the Khaki DP dress...I can't wait to wear it.
