NormaSknockers · 20/05/2010 14:20

Still no news on Alice?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 20/05/2010 14:30

She posted yesterday on her own thread at 12.15 but nothing since. She was going to try and see the Nurse..

Lizzylou · 20/05/2010 14:33

Hope she is OK, would it be very intrusive to send her DH a message via FB do you think?
Just hope she is OK.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 20/05/2010 14:35

Have already had a peep on his page but he doesn't seem to go on very often, but no not cheeky... It is quite worrying as I think she would let us know if poss because we all look after each other, I can't stop thinking about her...

OP posts:
DidEinsteinsMum · 20/05/2010 14:35

They might have kept her in for obs, i spent a lot of time in hospital for obs for less when pregnant. They can be very cautious re babies.

NormaSknockers · 20/05/2010 14:36

Lizzy I was thinking the same & have done the same as Mitts & looked at his page too!

NormaSknockers · 20/05/2010 14:37

Same here DEM, I spent the last 7 weeks with DS in & out of hospital. Just hoping she's resting up

jetcat · 20/05/2010 14:43

hope you ok alice

shiney - the lease car is from a company which does older cars, as i wont be able to get a new one as i am not working. I would make payments via paypal, and get to choose which car would suit me. The monthly payment includes tax, service and repairs - i would take the car to a garage that i know and trust, and the car company make payment over the phone.

am seriously tempted, as if i dont have to fork out a lump sum in one go, i may have a bit of money to do the garden up a bit, so the kids can play out all summer and not bug me

CrispyTheCrisp · 20/05/2010 14:56

Afternoon

Blimey Jet, you must have been beside yourself . So glad all ok. DD1 opens the door herself so i may have to use the chubb lock and remove the key (but i don't like doing that in case of fire)

Jet, personally i would go for a 1.0l Nissan micra type car, especially if you have a 'tame' mechanic and not a prat/fraudster like Vinny's FIL ( still)

Alice, hope you are resting ok and not been readmitted. Fingers and toes crossed for you

Wasting, are you still recovering from illness or do you think it is effect of dieting on your energy levels? Sorry, missed out on loads

LOL at Bitter giving SAF a heads up on the weeks offers

I have hoovered the house and shredded today so enough exercise me thinks. I am going to move to level 2 shredding tomorrow - is anyone else still doing it?

wastingaway · 20/05/2010 15:07

Aaaaarrgh! Ds was seriosuly doing my head in, got very shouty but he's snoozing and I'm chilling now I've buggied him to sleep.

Jet what a clever little girl!

Alice! ALICE!!!

I'd like to shred Cripsy, but I need to use the dvds I got first.
I am still illing, the colds on my chest now which can't help, but I'm going to give the larger breakfast a go.

SAF, has eating breakfast now helped?

jetcat · 20/05/2010 15:14

the micra type is one that i want crispy, but can only afford a really old one - and i am scared of repairs, even with the lovely gary mechanic. I spent a fortune on my xsara before gave it up, probably at least £800 in its final year - and i am scared of continually breaking down without having the money on hand to fix. The repairs option of the lease car is very tempting.

wasting - clever not the word i would use She has just made me smile though, for weeks she has been chuntering on about going to the 'fire place'[consfused] I went to our fire place, but no, thats not the one. This has gone on for ages - "mam, can we go to the fireplace so i can push the pushchair" etc etc. Cue me looking very confused and generally just changing the subject.

walking home from town today, she said "oh, we are at the fireplace." In reality - Burn Valley Good that she knows fires cause burns

wastingaway · 20/05/2010 15:18

Jet, that's very clever!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 20/05/2010 15:26

Sazz I have been doing it sporadically since DD has been off. Have done level 2 a bit. I like it but have to turn the sound down as I don't like being told what to do repeatedly . So I put music on as I am getting used to the routines.

I am building up to running properly again. I went out the other day but had forgotten to change the support insoles into my trainers and didn't want to start with shin splints from the start.

My left knee is dodgy though. I came off my bike two years ago and injured it badly, but as I was on strong painkillers for my spine at the time I think it masked the problem and now it is very unhappy. Might not be able to do much tarmac running.. which I enjoy as much as getting up on the moors. I am going to invest in a really good support though.

How are you Crispy?

OP posts:
Lizzylou · 20/05/2010 15:27

Hmmm, hope Alices OK, I have her address, wonder if they are ex-directory? Hope she is just on bed rest/being observed.
Crispy, I went on Level 2 and did it for a week, then my stomach muscles pulled/revolted and it hurt.
I am going to go back on it next week I think, once Pox Boy is back at CMs. I was just a bit scared to do it after hurting so much. Lots of Plank style stuff in Level 2, which isn't my forte, but needs to be done to be fair.

jetcat · 20/05/2010 15:31

my shred should be here by the weekend sazz - i think its going to hurt

but, no pain no gain etc

MitsubishiWarrioress · 20/05/2010 15:31

at Pox Boy....LL. DD is doing my nut in now. Mummy you be shopkeeper/teacher/pupil.. lets make potions/cookies/a farking mess....'can I cut this up' (shreds a whole role of bubble wrap without waiting for an answer)..I'm making mud pies mummy.... bless her
