Ach Norma... you are a goddess.. coffee for me but no biccies ta..

It is nice to take the pressure off yourself for a bit and you deserve it really. Will probably enjoy the whole thing more if it isn't a chore.

I am being exceedingly virtuous. I have cut out Almost all caffeine, bread, and exercise every day even if it is only a little. Not weighing myself yet.

I was told not to really go over 11st as it puts pressure on my spine so am aiming for 10 1/2, and am trying to be realistic. I think I will do my first weigh in on Friday 21st but just get back into better habits for now.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 12/05/2010 09:38

Oh Norma I've come over all funny....

NormaSknockers · 12/05/2010 09:38

I've just angramed my RL name & it's 'Bulky, Gay Dream' my MN name is 'Knackers, morons'

traceybath · 12/05/2010 09:39

Morning - sun is almost shining but its cold still.

Off to Jo Jingles in a bit and then taking car to garage for the to estimate cost of repairs after I scraped it in car park - luckily insurance will pay as supsect it will be several thousands.

And then may pop into new look and m&s for something for dinner - what shall we have tonight? Golly what big decisions I have to make today

NormaSknockers · 12/05/2010 09:39

Sounds like an excellent plan Mitts Especially cutting out the bread, amazing what ditching that can do really isn't it? You finding it managable?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 12/05/2010 09:46

The only time it bothers me Norma is if I need a quick snack, or I have soup because soup just needs bread IMO.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 12/05/2010 09:47

Hi tracey...... sounds like a chilled day.

  • and all was doing last night was watching the news channels...pretty much on a loop!

Jujus what have done to our shiney - she was so innocent before she met you.

tiny catch up -

Goobs...gutted for you but hoping strike doesn't happen.

Lizzy - I understand the lure of Hansen - those twinkly eyes...made slightly dirty by the scar. And Morton Harket. Oh how I loved him - he was meant for me (although he now seems a little clean cut with retrospect...but those cheekbones!)

And Alistar Campbell...I can't believe I"m typing this but yes yes yes.

Trills - so thrilled the dress was a hit that is the kind of thing I wish I could wear (alas can't because of saggy norkage)

DEM - it's good to hear that DS's dad has made himself useful and seems to be helping with the situation.

So my day has gone a bit . Got everything ready for my manic (am I allowed to use that word?) day at work and just as we were about to leave my nanny was suddenly sick! So no work - good news is I get DD to myself. Bad news is work is just piling up and I have no way to get it done.

And worse still...DD has decided she no longer needs to sleep in the morning...wtf...how will I get MNing work done? When did you DC's drop their early sleep (she's 15 months)

DidEinsteinsMum · 12/05/2010 10:14

no naps during day by 7mths here. no sleep at night either, so probably not good comparision...

Lizzylou · 12/05/2010 10:18

Hey Hells, sorry about your Nanny, but at least you get to squish DD all day.
By 15mths DS1 was on one 1-2hour nap in the afternoon, only every other day though

DS2 sometimes napped but more often than not, no daytime sleep.

No wonder I am haggard!

Right, curry is in the slow cooker so I think I deserve a cuppa.

Sorry about your Nanny Hells.

DD (16m) still has 2 naps a day

2 Hours in the morning and then she usually goes down after the school run about 4-5?

She is very active though, we pretty much walk everywhere (which takes forever as she has only been walking a couple of months)

We had to do this with DS from about 18m because he had so much energy and wasn't sleeping at night. So we had to really tire him out in the day. Still do, if I'm honest.

Maybe I am overdoing it with her if she still needs two naps?

DS was a nightmare from about 18m until he started school!

You couldn't take your eyes off him for a minute or he would climb or destroy something.

Looking back, I think he was probably bored. I was new to the area, had no friends and never really went out much, couldn't afford to take him anywhere and didn't have a car.

We spent days endlessly walking.

He is a very bright little boy, and I think he just needed more mental stumulation.

DD is a dream by comparision, she is happy to just go along with whatever you are doing.

Mind you, she definitely has her mothers's temper so i think when she hits the terrible twos, she will hit them hard

CrispyTheCrisp · 12/05/2010 11:00

LOL'ing at your sexploits here last night

Just popping on to say a big THANKYOU to TotalChaos - 30 Day shred turned up today so will try and do my first one tomorrow this evening

Crap morning - blubbed on the phone to HR (WTF is that about??) and now it's hailing. In May

Off to see a friend this avo so hopefully copious amounts of tea and cake will kick me back into touch.....

MitsubishiWarrioress · 12/05/2010 11:06

Hey crispy Are things any closer to being sorted?

Where's wasting? Not still illing I hope...

hellsbelles · 12/05/2010 11:07

Thanks all...sounds like she's doing what she's supposed to (and perhaps I was lucky it lasted this long)! She still has a nap after lunch (though who knows what she'll be like today) of about 2 hours.

Bitter - reading your post about DS and DD differences...I could have written it myself. I'm glad it went that round for me....I would have been lulled into a false sense of security if I'd had DD first!

DD needs changing - better go.

bellavita · 12/05/2010 11:14

Blimey Norma am all yours!!

Have sent MrBella a filthy e-mail - he hasn't replied... he must wander what on earth is going on!!

And what have you won Norma

How did you manage to scrape your car tracey?

hello Mitts!

Thanks Hells & Mitts, yes will all be done and dusted by 1 June. Just found something yesterday which proved they were just twisting stuff to suit themselves, so emailed it to them. They still think i might sue, but TBH just want out, BUT to be treated with a modicum of respect and decency as a human being. Not top of their priority pile that one

SAF/Bitter, sorry to hear life is not quite 'right' atm . Keep fighting Ladies

DD1 (21 months) dropped her morning nap about 3 months ago. SAdly she has restarted since 5.30 wake-ups are back

ForStately · 12/05/2010 11:20

I'm threadslaying all over the place today. Have just killed about 3 in a row.

Anyone know if Adios etc type tablets make you feel a bit weird?? I took an adios and something else (a fat buster thing off Ebay) and I must admit I feel slightly strange. Very speedy Is this normal? Or am I about to cark it??
