Sorry for crap title, my first time

Roundup of today:

shiney, hope you and J have a wonderful weekend together.

Queen, yuck. I hated nearly every minute of my pregnancy. Seriously, if you search my name from about Jan-Aug 2009, it will all be me moaning about how much it sucks. Sympathy for you from another hyperemesis sufferer.

DIB, my stomach leapt a bit reading about your DS, how scary! Glad he seems to be ok.

Alice, your DS is very curled up in there and you've got a ways to go (sorry!) so wouldn't worry about bump size at all.

VT, I think you should prepare for the camping by ceasing all ironing now

BOF, what the hospital appt for? You ok? Hope you feel better!

ABF, hello and welcome! I also think of Carry On films when I see ding dong, DH has forced me to watch them as part of my education on what it means to be British

DI, I am jealous. Tell me next time it is 'dress like a pirate day'.

SAF, my mom believed in benign neglect and got two very self-reliant and capable children. I don't go for doorstop selling of anything, I have a very comprehensive sign that seems to be keeping people away and stuff out of the letterbox.

bitter, I'm sorry, but at your DS being a bottom-flasher!

GetOrf, so giving up diet coke makes you lose weight? Might have to try that one!

bella, glad the cake situation was sorted. I am jealous, I want ducks to come to my house. We just have the neighbourhood cat who leaves us dead stuff [boak]

Goober, yay for another pound off!

korma, flylady is the way forward.

Sazz, that doesn't sound too bad, 4lbs can come off in two weeks. Good job on all the exercise.

Jet, hello! You just reminded me to check my BMI, and I have JUST graduated from 'Morbidly Obese' to merely 'Obese'! Hooray!

Mitts, at least she is your XMIL

hells, good luck with the nits

ScreaminEagle, I'm another who joined late (though it's been nearly 6 months now!).

Norma, hope your DS's finger is ok!

Defluff, at 'yo homies' I feel 12 again.

Went to pick up DS at nursery today and was alerted to the possibility he may be developing chicken pox!! ARrggggghhhhhhhhhhhh I really really hope not, I've only been back at work a week!

My luck is seriously shit. On the positive side the nursery worker thought if he had it the spots would be showing up faster instead of the very gradual increase over the day. So either he doesn't have it and has some weird other rash thing, or he has a mild case, or it will be turning up with a vengence tomorrow.

Either way, it is wine o'clock, DH is going to Spar now to fetch some in.

Oh yes Iggi, build your strength up.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/04/2010 22:42

Enjoy your wine saf. Tomorrow's another day.

Try some WineGinMargharita Sazz. Should do the trick.

Wasting and Sazz tut tut. You are supposed to talk me out of the chocolate (am actually having toast and banana instead).

saf - this will feel better in the morning, promise. and if you apply the year test - in a years time will this matter at all?

wastingaway · 30/04/2010 22:54

Sorry Iggi! Well done on toast and bananas.

Iggiepitomisesvacuity · 30/04/2010 22:56

There is butter but it's white bread and sliced banana. We all have our own ways! Worst thing about PIL trip is that DH has managed to arrange a night out with old school pals, leaving me alone with MIL & FIL for the whole evening. as we usually get the chance for a rare night out together when we stay there. Oh well, it will earn me brownie points I guess.

TotalChaos · 30/04/2010 22:56

Iggi - for a trip to the in-laws I think a bottle of gin at the very least is needed , and at least alcohol is pretty much fat free (well not baileys)

YanknCock · 30/04/2010 22:58

ok, the dress fits, and critically, I can sit down in it and breathe!

How on earth did I wear it if I was a stone heavier? The only problem I forsee is the bust. I only have nursing bras at the moment since I sold all my nice ones on ebay after I was pregnant. This dress really needs a strapless one or one with thin straps, not my gigantic nursing bra!

Saf, no-one dislikes you. It is all part and parcel of the elephant in the room that will be forgotten (please God) by Monday.

Now Have another glass of wine and listen to this.

That's an order.

wastingaway · 30/04/2010 22:59

Get thee to Bravissimo!

YanknCock · 30/04/2010 23:00

Iggi, when I was last in London I was alone with inlaws as DH went to France for work. I chickened out of staying there the entire time, went and stayed with friends for 3 nights out of the 4 that DH wasn't there!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 30/04/2010 23:01

Yank - Yay for dress!

I am sure you will find a suitable brassiere.

YanknCock · 30/04/2010 23:04

ooooh, can I go to Bravissimo now that I wear a 38 in mothercare? or are their 38s bigger than the norm? I should get out my tape measure.

TC I see them often enough that it would be dangerous to have a bottle of gin each time! Sazz maybe I could download something to ipod and watch discretely from my sleeve or something?

YanknCock · 30/04/2010 23:11

Thanks for the offer Sazz, but I have to try to bras on. The debenhams in the trafford centre was brilliant with me last time I needed stuff so will probably try there again. Seriously, the girl was so helpful I sat there and wrote a big long essay about how great she was for her personnel file!

YanknCock · 30/04/2010 23:13

I should really go take off the dress now, before I wrinkle it/spill something/boobs start leaking.
