Anyone want a slightly used, very annoying tempertaruming little boy who has OD on change and is currently having a major meltdown.

jetcat · 04/04/2010 17:02

Hells - pleased to report i resisted apple tart, and the apple pie that looked so appealing at the shop Muller light youghurt again it is for me!

Bella - junior has a very similar scalp, as do i. I use Tgel, but worried it would be too strong for her, so tried Vosene. That seems to be keeping it at bay for now

Thanks for the opinions on the bed. She is all excited to be swapping rooms, and figure with the storage in the bed, and extra wardrobe and bookshelves etc. we may just manage to fit all her crap precious belongings in

bellavita · 04/04/2010 17:09

Oh thanks jet, I will add Vosene to my shopping.

OP posts:
hellsbelles · 04/04/2010 17:10

well done jet

Dem - enjoy being spoilt rotten. It sounds like the timing is spot on!

Yank. I cannot believe it. You poor poor thing. And of course the likelihood is Mrcock will get it too so if you are rebooking give it a few days?!

Bella - o.k..DS would not be happy if he realised but you could try a baby cradle cap shampoo (perhaps change the bottle ) as that will be gentle and might do the trick without harmful chemicals.

Beach was lovely lovely lovely.

Waves at Jujus I won't even attempt sexy voice...I sound like I am on helium half the time. I think you probably did pretty well with that meal - at least you didn't get quorn fillets (with total yoghurt dip)

hellsbelles · 04/04/2010 17:12

i meant well done on avoiding the apple tart - but getting the wave is rather good too

jetcat · 04/04/2010 17:14

Hells

bellavita · 04/04/2010 17:15

Thanks for that Hells, I will add that as well to my shopping list and perhaps I can alternate with both.

Evening everyone. Hope you have had a lovely Easter Day. I have been eating like a bloody horse for tomorrow I diet!

I've popped the link on facebook, but if any of you would care to sponsor me in my diet for CancerResearchUK, please see the just giving page link here.

Really hope some of you can help out (no pressure and noone is obliged by any means)

Off to read the thread now and catch up.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/04/2010 19:28

Oh yank... for you,

Iatebetadadsbreadstick...on a diet?

Yes, cottage cheese just can't be sexed up can it?..... stockings, suspenders, sexy lingerie, husky voice, velvet blindfold and spooning....... cottage cheese elegantly into the awaiting mouth of a quivering, eager man.....

DidEinsteinsMum · 04/04/2010 19:35

Food was lovely although ds was a bit hit and miss... He is currently in the lounge. There are some days were I just want to say i dont want his ishoos anymore... right now that interpts to him as the two are inseprible.

right now i would happily let him stay with his dad. I know i would miss him eventually but i have truely had enough of this shit, especially as we are going back through the specialist shit again. I really dont need it right now

Is it bedtime yet?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/04/2010 19:36

I had two portions of Christmas Pudding...OMG, it was lush but I am now feeling like this
And drinking peppermint tea by the bucketful..why is it so so gooood being baaaaad?

bellavita · 04/04/2010 19:41

Mitts, I so know what you mean about feeling like that, so do I. I only had one piece of apple tart - it was lovely, but not worth how I am feeling now. I do love christmas pud though

I am going to go and get in my jammies.

OP posts:
MitsubishiWarrioress · 04/04/2010 19:42

No, I understand DEM, it is emotionally exhausting and I think you can get a form of care fatigue. I went through it with DS and he was undiagnosed with anything. Just damn hard work.

I am sorry it is so tough, somehow it is not quite what we anticipate parenting will be. You are human, not horrid,

DidEinsteinsMum · 04/04/2010 19:47

I am going to do the only sensible thing i can do. give him his sleep meds a bit early and shove him into bed. Thus allowing some evening for sorting out the chaos left behind....

When does parenting stop being guerilla warfare and start allowing time for fun and happiness? Cos right now he is fucking dangerous to be around and he can be lovely. just not at the mo

hellsbelles · 04/04/2010 19:49

DEM - mitts speaks wise words as always.

MyCatIsABastard · 04/04/2010 19:52

DEM, wow 1 1/2 stone, well done you.

jet, that's exciting re your birth father, and must feel really strange too.

iggi - I bet your getting hugely excited now! Hope it all goes well.

I have a pretty scandal free family really. The odd affair here and there and from the Yorkshire contingent quite a lot of 'ooh, have you seen what she is wearing, who does she think she is?!?!?" said about random female relatives at various weddings. They do also quite like a pissup and fight at a wedding, but that's about it.

Bitter, I hope you'll be able to get some childcare sorted and the funeral isn't too bad.

I have eaten my one lovely Green & Blacks Butterscotch chocolate egg. It was gorgeous, but it had to be gone for tomorrow the diet starts and I don't get rid of all the naughty food before I start, it'll call to me til I eat the lot!

Shiney, well done on the lose jeans. And even more well done on the weight loss.

MItts, that bike ride sounds lovely. I ran (a tiny bit) with DD this afternoon and getting the air into your lungs and doing something physical outside is really fun and invigorating (remembers her youth when doing something physical outside did not involve running from anyone ).

wasting, hope your eye feels better soon. I had conjunctivitus last year, itchy and nasty.

Oh Yank, that sounds nasty. Hope you both feel better soon and can still go.

I'm just waiting for DD to be sick. She's coughing which usually means in about 30 mins or so she'll throw up. SHe did last night too. SHe's got a slight rash but nothing too bad and was absolutely fine today after throwing up. I really don't kinow what causes it but it's something that she has always done.

IAteABetaDadsBreadstick · 04/04/2010 19:53

Mitts - a very strict diet yes

On the subject of dcs, dd1 is at her father's till tomorrow pm. God its been utter bliss! I feel a right cow for saying that and I o miss her terribly, but the luxury of doing (relatively) what you want with no 'Mummy, Mummy' every bloody 5 seconds is fab

No special issues either, she just talks from 7am to 7pm. Wonder where she gets that from?

Yank - so sorry re the sickness, fingers crossed you'll be ok.
