um... how faint is a faint line?

Did a pregnancy test this morning as period is a week late....

there is the faintest smudge where the positive line would be, so faint I'm not entirely convinced it's there.

Court of mumsnet, what do you think?

colditz maybe the stressing is just causing af to be late. The only time i have had that happend was when ds was 4mths old and i didint have af for 4mths. All my gp said was to wait until it had been 6mths..hopefully if u see urs they may be more help

Hi Flamesparrow...

Well, I told him about the lack of response from clear blue digital, and the fact that my period is now 11 days late.

He thinks my period has been stopped by stress. H prodded my tummy and said is probably wasn't an ectopic pg, and I am probably not pg at all.

So really, I still have no idea what is going on!

Oh, didn't realise you still didn't have a result.

A while ago my Af was 5 days late and seemingly for no reason at all. Dh was even talking names and loft conversions and then it arrived.

I did about 6 different tests, all were negative.

Strangely though, my next AF came 28 days after the day my late period was due. So instead of coming 28 days after I eventually came on it came 23 days. Does that make sense?

Hope you have some news soon.

Oh, God, still no period.....

I'm not doing another test til Monday though. It's just too bloody expensive.

Arrrrghhhh! I just can't stand not knowing! I'm in total limbo!

How about one of the cheap tests from the internet, they delivered to me really quickly so you could do another one before the weekend if you ordered today. Can't remember the name but it was accor or accu or something - the website was www.earlypregnancy (something like that). Anyway, they are loads cheaper than all the ones in the chemist.
If you come up negative now then either something really strange is going on or you are very very stressed about it.
Extremely odd. Do you feel OK? Any other symptoms?
You must have nerves of steel to wait until after the weekend.

Colditz, I know how you feel. I am three weeks late (since having dd 2 years ago have been regular) but still no sign of AF. Took 2 tests both neg and am now waiting for results from doctors.

Oh MickU isn't it awful to have to wait? My ds is 2, but I know I was pregnant with him even before I took the test. I don't feel pregnant at all now!

I think you should go back to your doctors and ask to have a scan to make sure its not an ectopic pregnancy. GPs are always better help when you tell them what you want!!

No, nor do I. I'll have to wait and see what the result says tomorrow.

If it's neg again I'll have to see doc because I suffer with PCOS and may need to see a gyne again to get tablets to kick start my periods. Not nice waiting though is it!

if it's any relief I had an ectopic and had strong pg symptoms before period due and tested + 3 days late and the ectopic was preceded by very unusual spotting, I know they aint all like that but thought I'd add my 2 pennies, it was someone on here when I started spotting that mentioned ectopic and quite possibly saved my life..

Oh, good grief, this is getting beyond a joke.

16 days late now. I wanted to go out tonight, but povidence must be smiling on me, because she has postponed until next week.

Going back to the GP on Monday. I hope he doesn't want to give me an internal, do you think he will do?

I don't know how to act, IYSWIM. I don't know if to act normal, or pregnant (less drinking, and no crafty fags!) But I genuinely don't think I'm pregnant. I just don't feel it.

seriously crapping myself now.
